faculties of this institute are very highly qualified in their field, and they are very supportive also
infastructure of this institute is very nice and new construction work is also going on .
new classrooms are very nice and fully air conditioner

Dislikes

Weather of this place is not so good all the time there is only high temperature . All time summer season their only
the city is far from institute and there is no proper transportation to go city area , every time we have to spend 200+ Rs. for traveling to city only
compare to some other older institute they are fewer oppurtunities for internships and industry exposure

Course Curriculum Overview

Particularly the course curriculum includes one programming course for the cse and aids students in every semester which influenced me the most. Frequency of the exams are twice in a semester. I suggest that the college needs to include more relevant programming courses for the real world applications.

Class Size: 106Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For btech programs in charge 135000 Rs. per semister . for SC ST and student whose family is less than 1.5 lakh per annum has waiver to submit tution fees only they have to pay for hostel , mess and other acedamics fees

Campus Life

College infrastructure i can say that it is decent right now and in future it will be good because phase three constructions are going on. But there is no social life you can expect from this college and club involvement of the people are very less in the campus.

Admission

I think i were apply to NIT Jalandhar if i didn't take a seat here and the reason is i have confirmed admission in it in my favourite branch. Atleast my college has it's own campus in comparison to the other IIIT's.

Faculty

If we have a look on the faculty to student ratio it is mostly near about 1:75/80. Most of the faculty are very knowledgable and the relationship between the faculty and student is also good. Most of the faculty are easily approachable for any kind of issues and problems. Most of the faculties are good but some of the faculties are not liked by the students just because of their behaviour in the class and their teaching method. In every semester there are two types of exam mid semester exams and end semester exams. Mostly the eams are of easy level or moderate level. At most 9 students out of the 300 students. Mostly in the first semester you may feel the courses are not relevant but later you will relaize in further semesters that the courses are mostly aligned to the branch.

Night Life

Cafeterias are open till 10pm and the gym has their particular timings, library is open till 12pm. Hostel timings are till 12pm. Campus timings are before 9pm. Famous hangout places outside the college is oravakul waterfall. But sorry to say there is no safe place to roam in the night in the city.

Placement Experience:

Yes there are campus placement in my college,there were many companies approaching to my college.from third year on wards the campus placement will be started. the highest package was around like 49 lakh.the girl who got this package from electronics department,the average package is like 3 to 4.5 lakh . Around 40 to 60 percent students are getting in the placements and my plans after the degree was to get high paid job in reputed organization

From 6 th semester onwards students are eligible for participating in drives.The students should have cgpa above 7.5.. Recently TCS has visited our campus and offered 450+ jobs,HSBC offered 9 students with 9.5 lakhs packages. Placement Experience:

Lendi give good placement offers to students. From 3rd year 2nd semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement. Hexaware, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Cognizant, Pal tech, Pennant, TCS, Accenture, prolific etc are some company visited. More than 300+ offers are secured. Highest package is 12 and average package is 4LPA. 80% of students got placed. My plan to do job in good company after getting the degree.

The real IIIT, that is IIITDM Kurnool

I choose IIITDM Karun or NIT and state colleges due to its design focused curriculum modern labs and faculty while initiatives offer better placement IIITDM K provides strong research opportunities I applied to NIT and IIIT but missed top choices due to JE main rank IITDM Kurnool cut off was within range so I joined through JOSAA counselling. Life In IIITDM KURNOOL

I got 97.8 percentile in JEE mains and I am a OC candidate I got seat in IIITDM Kurnool. There are many other colleges but I have choosen this college because it is near to my home state and there will be many people of our same mother tounge and it will be easy to survive over here.
