Course Curriculum Overview
Particulaly courses of my branch is quite relevant which includes ml,data science, etc. But the exposure to the industry and industrial projects is not at all good. First exam in any sem is mid semester exam which is taken around after 1.5-2 months of starting and end semester exam after 4 months. Quizes depends on faculty.
Placement Experience
Placement for Chemical and petroleum branches are good but tech branches are very new in the college so number is not good. very few Comapanies visit for placements. But things will get better with time. This year Phonepe visited and gave quite descent offers. More to come this year lets see how the stat goes.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees is 123300 per sem for gen and obc and its 98300 for sc and st. Mess fees is taken 20000 in advance in starting of every semester and billed at year end. Tution and mess fees is taken per sem. caution money ( 5000), admission fees, development fees, etc are taken once at the time of admission. Only one scholarship is provided by the college which is merit cum scholarship based on the performance.
Campus Life
Campus life is not very chill because of too many restriction over everything. 2-3 fest happens in a year that too at very small scale and thousands of resctriction and permissions. campus life is not at all chill . Library is very small (very much) with irrelevant old books. classroms are good . Campus has very limited sports facilities like a tennis, a basketball, a volleyball and a badminton court.all these are outdoor so u cant play badminton in windy season.Even gym is very small with atleast 13 years old equipments which are unfunctional most of the times. There are few clubs but they are active only once a year(when freshies come).
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms and facilities are very good infact one of the block has private washroom in everyroom. Food in the mess quite descent and menu is suffled in few months. you automatically register for hostel if you are admitted. There are only Khets(cultivation field) outside so nothing like room and pg outside campus.
Admission
I got seats in few other colleges like jaypee noida , DTU ,IIPE but i chose RGIPT because its an institute of national importance and i was getting computer science branch here. Amongst all the colleges where i was getting seat RGIPT was a good option so i went with it. RGIPT takes admission with both JEE ADV & JEE MAINS rank. But ADV is preferred for CS branches. Councelling starts on official website after the result then addmision is done according to the merit list.Cutoff is not very high ,one can get cs if has adv rank in 20'sK.
Faculty
The faculty to students ration varies Department to department but average would be around 1:45. Mostly faculties are very good in terms of help and approch they are ready to help you in terms of studies. The dean of student affairs is hated moslty among the students. there are two exams per semester one is mid semester and the second is end semester.quizes depends on the faculty. exams are not too difficult to pass infact not too difficult to score good.
Night Life
gym is open till 10 in the night , night canteen is open till 3 in the night but no restriction to roam in the campus in common ares at night. hostels are always open but for girls they have to make entry after midnight to come out(only for freshies). you just have Khets to hangout outside the campus.
