- You find few teachers who encourage if you are really interested
- You can really have a good social life until and unless you are introvert like me
- No pollution, good environment, peaceful
Dislikes
- Only senior professor are high knowledgeable and some are not as much as brainy especially the newbie teachers. And that senior professor will some times leave the campus for months to their research works
- Course curriculum won't match much with your professional development, but this is the case with every college in india
- It won't provide any good placements or internships like IITS and NIT's
Course Curriculum Overview
Cse ongoing trend, that's why taken that. Curriculum syllabus +few more other topics =placement That means the level of your placement depends on your weightage of that few more topics For every semester there will be 3 assignment and one final exam. Few days before exam is enough preparation. The course curriculum should change completely for India not just for us and teaching methods are good for senior professor but not juniors
Fees and Financial Aid
Actually for each semester i am paying nearly 1,66,400 that means for one year iam paying twice the amount.And this amount is increasing every year .Iam an OBC and my father is an government employees so no scholarship, all my friends who are sc or st or EWS will get nearly 1,40,000 as their scholarship and even that would be given if you keep up some eligible criteria like merit or no backlog. Their will be some state wise scholarships also.
Campus Life
All clubs are online and only some times they keep some meets and competitons that's it. And fews events that happen are technical fest(ahoba recently, search online) and freshers, fairwell, convocation and some other small small festivals. Sports ...hm..no proper coach , no big ground also, but if are so much motivated to play you can play and inter IIIT competitions will go every year, every (almost) boy is interested in it. And don't ask these things for girls hm.
Admission
I choosen some AP state college through EAMCET and Amrita university also . I got admission in amrita also. But I choosen this college (IIITM) only for brand. I priorly know everything that it have nothing much but brand. You will have a JEE MAINS exam after 12 th based on the cutoff rank (which is changing every year , better check online for that) you will choosen, and your branch is also gets better if your rank is better. In councelling round (csab) just apply , if everything goes well you get seat if not no
Faculty
1:30 faculty to student ratio. If are good enough and interest in studies and subject wise they will help you a lot, but if they find any non sense created by a student they try to decrease marks (not all but few) Saharia sir my favourite facility. Remaining are okay okay not bad not good. If you sincerely study few days before exams you can get more than 70% marks, and rest all depends on your interest and attendance during the complete semester. There will be 50% of relevance in your course and professional life, if you want to choose your core branch as your professional domain
Night Life
Small gym small canteen small library, I guess all these would be improved after we get permenent campus which under construction. You should come back to college before 7:30 pm for girls and a bit late for boys Locality is notuch safe to roam, better don't plan any trips in that state, we can go out eat and come back but not good for trips
