Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is little outdated , for example : we (cse) students only have 1 cs related subject in the entire 1st year . I guess it is pure wastage of the one whole academic year . From second year onwards the curriculum is quite relevant and we get projects for deep understanding .

Internships Opportunities

4

The college provide good internship opportunities to the students . The college has signed MOUs with several IITs which provide internships to the students . The faculty provides special training to the students for internships .

Placement Experience

5

The placements started from this year and we don't have any stats for it as of now . However , the college helps the students in getting internships . There are many students who have cracked amazon off-campus .

Fees and Financial Aid

As of now the total fees for the first year is 1,75,000 . It will be around 1,65,000 for rest of the years . Every batchmate of mine pays the same fees . Since there is no admission on the basis of category , every student has to pay the same amount of fees .

Campus Life

5

The campus life is decent . There are few events throughout the year . The library is fully equipped with great books and we can easily issue them and there is no shortage of books . There are many clubs and societies which are active .

Admission

I chose VIPS because my home is near to the college and it saves my time . I applied to ADGITM also but due to its poor locality and bad transport connections , I didn't chose it . If you want to get admission in VIPS then either you have to get a decent rank in JEE MAINS or good percentage (above 90) in your BOARD exams .

Faculty

5

The faculty here is very helpful and supportive. They give high-quality lectures and provide their notes too. They also help with the projects and guide us in making improvements. We have 2 mid-sems and 1 end-sem in a Semester . The mid-sems are of 40 marks each and the End-sem is of 60 marks .

Night Life

5

The college does not provide any Hostel facilities . The college starts from 9:00 am and closes around 5:00 pm depending on the course . The cafeterias in the college are top notch but expensive as compared to other colleges . There are many places near the college for hangout.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
