In my college means in VGEC, I like the faculty support, and affordable fees.

Dislikes

The Time of college is like office time.
The boy-girl ratio is 15:1 in my IT field.

Course Curriculum Overview

One can do online intenship easily after college time but I am not able to do any intenship for my skill upgradation , this is biggest disadvantage of my choice of Government college, as we know textbook knowledge is not the knowledge that is required in job. So, we have to upgrade our skills by ourselves and because of attendence system, One government student can't upgrade his/her skills by offline intenships , in sem 1 to 5.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

It is a Government College. So, it takes around 10000 rupees ( you have to pay the fees two times per sem , at starting of the sem , and at mid of the sem before the final exam). Note : When you pay the fee at the mid of the sem then , you will get one Hall ticket for the final theory examination,(for 1 to 4 sem) . after 4th sem means 5 to 8 , you will get practicle hallticket also.

Campus Life

In VGEC, the campus life is great because here all the events that are required to upgrade your skills are occures like HACKATHONS. You wil get fun here also , because of GTU 100 activity points , you have to collect 100 point by different activities.

Admission

I wanted to take admission in government college becuase of affordability and it's high criteria of percentage. VGEC is the best college as per my perspective . I have also applied for LD, VGEC and GEC. In First round I got admission in VGEC. In third round I was able to go to LD, but because of supportive nature of faculties and the teaching skills of faculties were awesome. So I prefer VGEC college.

Faculty

I am in Information Technology branch . In my branch there are so many lovely nature faculties, but the most supportive faculties for me are Manmit Zala sir ,Nimisha Trivedi madam and Chetna Chand madam. They supported me a lot.

Night Life

My home is near the college, but my friends live in the hostel , so i know that there is a gym near to the college. You will get the good food around the college. There i a library in the college also. Locality is good .

Placement Experience:

In our college, 100% students get placed every year. After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Some students want to get into higher studies and some want to get off-campus placements. Many companies like google, motorola,crest comes to take interviews. My plan is to get into higher studies abroad after getting degree.

Placement of my college is decent enough as per NITs. From 7 semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Micron, GE Healthcare, Visa, MasterCard and more visited and offer 6 to 7 candidates depending on requirement. Highest package is 57 LPA in CSE branch and 35 LPA in ECE branch. In CSE Placement percentage is 94% and in ECE it is 84%. I will go for College placements and will give government exams and GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester,the students are eligible for the placement cells.As we all know that first step for the placement is The Aptitude test and later on the interview and technical skills. Companies like TCS,Micron,TCS Ninja,Juspay,Samsung, Microsoft and many more. The highest placement from the college is 31LPA and the average package of the college is 3LPA to 4LPA. The students placed every year around 60-65 %.

Placement Experience:

The placement in by branch are good enough in last year 2024 a student got package of nearly 42 lakh per year from computer branch. The average package in computer branch is nearly 10 to 12 LPA . Different companies visits our college to give placement to the students. The major companies ask about the students who have 8 + CGPA . Students become eligible from the 7th semester itself for campus placements. The collge gives perfect data of the student who are placed in different different companies.in year 2023 88% of the students were succcessufully placed in companies.Including all branches average package was of 7 LPA but for computer science students the average package was 10 to 12 LPA.In petrochemical branches the highest package was 24 LPA . and average package was nearly about 6.5LPA.The IT companies such as Google , Microsoft, Reliance , TATA visiits the college to give placement to the students of computer science.The total of 550 +students got the offer from various companies from all branches of btech and nearly 175 companies visited to the campus of the collegeAfter i get the degree the college pdeu i wil do the job for 2 to 3 years in some good companies after that my plan is to do startup means i want to start my buissness such as making an app , etc.. In PDEU the number of students getting placed are good enough even students getting good offcampus packages than oncampus becaus the student become capable of doing work or finding good work. There are some of the students not getting the jobs on campus they try offcampus and thy get the job.

Great experience in College Life

Placement Experience:

The college do have placements offers with many companies in the world and even the most popular companies like google, Facebook, And many more. Many students don't get the opportunity as it only offers to those students who are good in there own field. Normally students become eligible for campus placements From 6th semester. They get chance for 3 semester i.e. 6th,7th,&8th semester. The highest offer a student got here was 2cr per anumn.

Review about our college

The college is making fits in my requirements so i choose it over other colleges. the first Parmenter is affordability of the cousre so this course is really affordable compare to others colleges. It is also ease to traportation because it have BRTS & GSRTC bus stand also. the metro station is also opeen soon so there more easy to transport. the main it faculty is also good. so these are the parameters to choose it over to the other colleges. this college's campus is really great . i am talking about environment area buildings roads development hostels and block structure. no i did not get any rejection because I applied only in VGEC i got this college From mock round result of ACPC VGEC is GTU under college, for addmission students has to fill the ACPC form after few days they allote us a rank number that help colleges to make their merits and by the merits we get addmission in VGEC. exams like gujrat board cbse gujcet JEE MAIN are accepted. most preffered exams by students are gujarat boards cbse and gujcet....Read More
