Entrance Preview
JNU-CEEB entrance exam is mandatory. I acquired an all India rank of 16. One of the top universities of India that grants admission to the top 30 students.
Internships Opportunities
Unfortunately, I don't think internships are offered. However, we are encouraged to apply to various institutes for summer training and many professors gladly help with their recommendations for the same.
College Events
During our time, we celebrated "Lohri festival" in January and a Biotechnology festival called "Bioepoch". The Bioepoch lasts for 1-2 days and hosts a large number of eminent speakers along with quizzes, etc organized for the participant students. This year, we broadened the fest outside academics by including an intra-school competition of various sports such as cricket, badminton, football, chess, and so on.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees in JNU are subsidized and you literally have hardly anything to pay. In the beginning while enrolling for the JNU-CEEB entrance we pay 5000 Rs of which 4000 Rs is refunded if you take admission. The only expenses a student at JNU will be the hostel and mess bill and stationary, xerox, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
I only know of the MCM scholarship offered to students. But I don't know much about it. There is a State Bank of India on campus, so probably one could inquire about loans there. But as far as I know, I haven't heard of any such loans.
