Course Curriculum Overview

I chose MA in Population Studies. It consists of two years. The course compresses the high-level population sciences including in-depth knowledge and various health and environmental fact.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is around 18500 rupees for the first year and 13500 rupees for the second year included the admission fee, exam fee, and other fees. The total fees are around 32000 rupees.

Campus Life

Our college is organized the cultural events and sports such as Workshops, Conferences & Seminars and games. It also provides the well-equipped library, hall, cafeteria, computer lab, etc.

Hostel Facilities

There are available two hostels. The college provides hostels for girls and boys. Wi-Fi is available in the hostels inside the campus as well. The hostel has facilities gymnasium, Mess arrangement, and Games such as table tennis, carom, and chess.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Admission

The admission is based on the Online Entrance Test across India. The Online Entrance Test includes multiple choice questions. The syllabus of Entrance Test compresses basic logical reasoning, general knowledge, English grammar, population, health, basic mathematics, and social science issues.

The faculty members of our college had done their Ph.D. All of them are highly qualified from the reputed institution and some of them studied from abroad. They have well experience in their fields.

The internship for MA PART 2 continuous for 9 months
The faculty here is well qualified for the job role and has immense knowledge
Locality,its just walkable distance from the railway station

Dislikes

The timings may effect the people who travel from far away eg virar or thane

Course Curriculum Overview:

For first year you are supposed to take up internship from your own and for second year the college with place you somewhere so this is usually done to make you ready for real world. You also have internal tests along with assignments and with internship so sometimes it gets exhausting I feel this area should be improved.

My Good College

Likes

Hostel facilities are good enough. 24x7 electricity and water. Also single rooms are allocated.
Teachers are well qualified and dedicated to teaching well.
The environment is quiet and peaceful. Its study friendly.

Dislikes

Mess food can be improved. Can opt for more food varieties.
No proper canteen in the campus. One should be there to help students at an affordable price.

The curriculum is well articulated. It focuses both on mental and spiritual growth of the students. It does prepare the students for the real world application. Exams are not very tough, they help the students to bring out the potential

Entrance preview

Admission:

No entrance is conducted. I was admitted in this college on the basis of my percentage in the CBSE exam. So I didn't have to prepare for any sort of entrance exam. I scored a decent of 78% and could manage to get admission in the college.
