Course Curriculum Overview

3

I took B.com strategic finance (integrated wit US CMA) I took this course because of the following reasons Integration with US CMA certification Global relevance with a focus on international finance Practical exposure through industry interface programs Emphasis on strategic decision making and skill development Prepared students for corporate and advance studies Strong foundation in strategic finance and global business practices

Internships Opportunities

4

See I have no idea about internships i just know that they are good and that's why this college is reputed so much. And yeah the same companies which I mentioned earlier come for offers. It is obvious that not all students get selected for internship and placements but I think a good number of students get selected yearly

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible for campus from 4th sem But I haven't applied for any placements yet Some of the famous companies that have visited our college include Deloitte, radio mirchie, Tesco,Infosys etc and more than 200 companies I don't have much idea about the the highest package and the percentage of students getting placed but during the orientation they said that one student go a package of some 24 lakh package for an internship

Campus Life

5

Okay so the cultural part Believe me the cultural festivals in Mcc are amazing Some of it's famous fests are culah which is popular among all the colleges in Bangalor And there are atleast 3 to 4 Events happening in a month, thus we students often get breaks In between always

Admission

Okay so my first preference was st Joseph college of commerce but since I couldn't pass the entrance exam there i joined Mcc which was my second preference The admissions process was very simple. Everything was online. B.com had no entrance exams or interviews but Bba had interview and exam which was offline

Faculty

4

I would rate the faculty student relationship 7/10 I loved my 1st sem teachers they were friendly and cute. I found them cut maybe because they were just some 10 yrs older than us Now in the 2nd Sem the teachers we got are more stricter The 1st sem teachers were chill with the assignments and presentations

Interview Experience

5

No I had no interviews or exam entrance for my admissions as b.com course have no exams for selection but bba students need to pass through interview and entrance exam All the admissions process was online so it was very easy for me to get in with my 92% in 12th When I was in Mcc pu i had to undergo through a interview

Night Life

5

Mcc is located in Palace Road in Banglore which is nearer to church street and chunnigam road which has various restaurants. Mcc also has a canteen which is no more less than a food court. You can get anything from North Indian to South Indian, desserts , instant noodles etc you name anything and you can get it in the canteen,my personal favourite is the peri peri momo from the momo didi near the pu side. Apart from this there are many restaurants in the lofars lane plus you get a separate bus that travels from Mcc to the nearest metro

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
