VGEC ~ "Virtual Book"

Our Course is well - structured, although theres some irelavant subjects in some semesters. It nicely gives us exposure to the real world industry upto some levels. The course should be updated now with some new topics like Ai-Ml in general for IT-related domains, There's one final end semster theory exams at the end of each semster(6 months) & from sem-5 external viva practical exams also starts

From 7th Semester students are ready n eligible for internships & placements from our VGEC college, companies like Tatvasoft, Argusoft, TCS, Medtab..etc visits our campus for placements in IT dept. Highest package in our dept. is around 21 LPA & average package it around 3-4.5LPA, Almost 60-80% students got placed in the on-campus placements, I'm also planning for on-campus placement with some nice offer in good company.

For Any B.E course under GTU like VGEC :- Odd Sem Fees :- 1600 rupees, Even Sem Fees :- 1900 rupees (it varies from 1600 to 1900 rupees) [Free Seat Quota Students dont have to pay the fees & All the semester fees are applicable boys only, girls dont have to pay such fees]. University End Sem Exam Fees(in rupees):- Examform fees :- 750/(end sem exams), PCR fees :- 300/(year) VGEC provides all the general scholarships approval by college like MYSY, Digital-Gujarat,.......etc.

We have HackVgec- hackathon competition, TechXIT on different time period anually, Also Cultural fest like RangTali- Garba Festival (around November Month), Vishwacup - sports competition around Septermeber month........etc We have library with good range of knowledgable & Academices related books, there are many social clubs like IEEE, NSS , NCC , English-learning groups ....etc in campus

I applied for LDCE college , Ahmedabad University for my UG, but got rejection in LDCE & in AU the fees are high so i took admission in VGEC, Which i think is equivalent to LDCE in course structure cause both of them are GTU affiliated and better than AU in lesser fees structure!! For admission:- You can apply by ACPC counsilling for admission with GUJCET+12th Science-Results' merit.....also through JEE rank you can apply for this college.

Theres faculties for all the core subjects and practical subject , like 1 for each. We have good relation with faculties members and they are very helpful and approachable. I like Jignesh Vania sir, Shailesh Molia sir, Vallabh Patel sir for best support , well deep teaching and helpful nature In our IT department there are :- Midsem exams, Class Tests. Levels for both are Moderate to Slightly-Hard level difficulties, Nearly 8-10 students always are not able to clear these exams.

Area around our VGEC college is awesome, some nice malls/ cafes/ gyms/ shops are there on the opposite to our college and nearby locations , its very nice !! Inside the college Gymkhana , volleyball grouns, football groud........etc are some hangout/fun places, Outside the college :- pvr motera, plaza opposite to college, food street inside the plaza and around the shops nearby, Dmart, Motera stadium.......etc are some nice places to have fun n hangout sites.
