Remarks

There should be more practical exposure or case studies exposure for students as the life after graduation is more about practical experiemce rather than theoretical.

Entrance Preview

I. P University law entrance exam. Law was the nearest field to chartered accountant and I did not wanted to do CA. As for entrance my college seats increases due to a verdict in favour of college and now I am a successful lawyer and also founder of a application named Indian bare acts pack which is used by the lawyers of India.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Standard but I did my dissertation in indirect tax. The law course is a standard course and specialisation comes at LLm course. The curriculum used to be tough earlier but its flavoured with a bit practical exposure now. College is affiliated with IP university so they follow their curriculum.

Internships Opportunities

With criminal lawyer nothing but with corporate firms anything between 2000 to 5000. I got 4000 in vaish & associates and I pay anything between 2500 to 4000 to interns despite of being founder of a young law firm

Placement Experience

3.5

At the time of my graduation there used to be no placement cell but now there is and in fact I have picked 2 student from my college.

College Events

4

Nothing specific at our time but this year fest named gravity was organised. I was one of small sponsors to promote my mobile app but I think effort counts more than success sometimes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. At our time u.e from 2004 to 2009 it was just Ra. 40000 per year. But now I think it's double and that is justified also coz infrastructure is now 10 times as it was at our time.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. Not applicable but I am not aware of current scenario or structure maybe it is offered now.

Campus Life

5

Very nice. But after answering so many questions I think this survey is mainly meant for IT students so that you may pick them for recruitment. I think gender, caste, sex orientation does not kick in at college level. I myself took nearly 100 law students for outstation college trip to Goa, ooty and again goa for 3 years. I was active in managing and handling situations.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Not applicable. PG or hostel facility was there. Again I think this form is mainly for IT students.

Alumni/Alumna

I am the one who initiated placement cell. Seniors are always respected in our profession and our college has really grown in ranking rapidly. Alumni relation should be a bit more rigrous as I deal with many startup clients I have recommended startup named Almashines to manage their alumni relations.

Exam Structure

Not applicable for labs. Exams always are hectic in college days but seems as best time when you graduate.

Faculty

Really nice supported us in many manner apart from studies as well like organising trips, fest, moot court competition. Also after many years even now we are called by our college and my college even gave me a chance to showcase my app in an international

Being very passionate about law it brought me closer towards the subjects i thought I'd never like. It's vast curriculum has made me like a lot of subjects and has also given me a real life applications and further academic achievement however I feel like the curriculum should focus on law subjects from the very beginning and teaching could be improved by further interactive session between students and faculty.

There are not as such campus placements but the students secure ppos from the law firms. Majority of the students do not go for corporates as the field diversified in judiciary, litigation etc. The placement cell is working hard to bring in companies for hiring.

The curriculum is good for the real world applications as the course teaches us about the practical work. They can improve their course by adding more moot court practices during the semester and by giving the students the opportunity to practically utilise the bookish knowledge they are gaining.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very much practical knowledge based and helps the students to grow there legal reasoning which helps them to prosper in the profession. Also it helps them to read and correlate the real time judgements being passed, this curriculum prepares the students to understand the reasoning behind the judgements. Though the curriculum is practical knowledge based it still requires many improvements as these case are old and some of them are even overruled, also the we have to write very long answers which needs to be changed as new methods like ooen text book exams can be adopted to improving.

After 2 years of integrated courses, you can become eligible for a job. In law, there is no company, but if you have good communication skills, you will be placed in one of the high courts or supreme courts under a senior lawyer. I don't know much about packages. My plan was to go to Oxford University for further studies.
