An btech experience of a lateral entry student

The course curriculum is bit difficult as I'm a cyber security student, it's all depth in the core subjects. Though it helps me in preparing to the placements and competitive examinations in my life.The faculty should teach in much better.the frequency and timings of exams is good according to me

I just feel the internships are useless here these internships Will be of unpaid and in return we should only pay the money and it's compulsory to pay those internship amount. And the same is implied for projects

From the 3 rd year of btech students are eligible for campus placements ,the companies like Accenture, Deloitte, cognizant winwire,techmahindra etc visited our college more than 150 memebers are selected in the campus placements.Almost 60 compaines visited to our campus till the 4 1 semester.The highest package obtained is 25lpa by a data science student and average package is 4lpa. I want to secure a job and at the same time pursue my mtech.

I'm a btech final year student the college tution fee is 105000/- without scholarship for every year.And an amount of 35000/- is scholarship reimbursement for the students who are from backward castes like BC per year.I was a lateral entry student joined the college in my 2year.For the 4 years of Btech course you must pay an amount of 4,20000/-.There is a high chance of increasing the tution fee in upcoming years.For students who are from SC and ST will have full fee reimbursement that is the total amount of 4,20000 will paid by the government.Beside this their is miscellaneous fee which is of 5500/- per year you must pay it compulsory,and semester examination fee will be around 1600/- per semester.Also there will be some other fees that should be paid for it may be of 3000/- per semester.Over all for a student with fee reimbursement of 35000/- per year which is deducted from the 105000/- should keep an amount of 600000/- for 4 years of btech in these college. An SC or ST student must carry an amount of atleast 150000 for 4 years of btech.

Various technical events are held by MREC Akshara and vishesh are the events which are held annually. Beside this every department conducts an event which is related to their branch which may last for 3 days. Every festival is celebrated in MREC.The library has more than 1000 books and a digital library too with good efficiency. Every class room is digitally labelled with good infrastructure. Both the indoor and outdoor sports are provided to the students and NCC training is also given. Many students run their social clubs and groups which are very used for us

I was a lateral entry student joined in 2022 in cyber security branch I applied more than 15 colleges during my 1st phase of ecet counselling colleges like MREC ,MLRS ,MRIT, SMEC ,MRECW ,MRECET and many more the admission process was as usual to other colleges.I was very much interested in joining cyber security as I got the seat in cyber security without second thought I just grabbed the college and join it

In our branch the students are almost 180 members and the faculty are 25memeber.The faculty are friendly in nature with the students.We can approach them at any time during the college hours.The faculty I like the most krishna kanth sir, Mounika mam they are friendly and give the best suggestions in our path to obtain it.i just so not want to mention the name of the faculty she is very rude to the students without any reason she scolds us she just mixes up her personal life on us.every semester we have 5 to 6 subjects some will be easy and some will be hard to understand and study.The ratio of pass percentage to fail percentage is 120:60.

MREC provides gym, cafeteria, libarary to its students not all use the gym mostly,the library is the best place to visit in the college and the public area near the college is very friendly we can chill with our friends their are many cafes near by the college to hangout. The place is bit unsafe at night. The campus timmings are 9 15AM to 4PM
