Course Curriculum Overview

There will be ab exam for every 15 days (only 1sub) known as part completion test for 50 marks, the pass percentage is 50% that is to pass PCT we need to score more than 25 marks out of 50. This is not a serious exam it is only for the practice purpose. I personally feel like It would be much better if there will be 4-5 cadavers in 1st year dissection.i personally choosed this college because there will be no disturbances coming( traffic, people)

Internships Opportunities

After around 4.5 years of mbbs 5th year of mbbs is internship, where the students will be assigned duties in different hospital in different shifts. Salary will be given based on there attendance to the duties

Fees and Financial Aid

For the 1st year of mbbs the fees will be around 52k including hostel, library and all other stuff excluding mess fee(for oc gen candidate) it may be some what less for other reservation candidates. Students can apply for scholarship on their own will. From 2nd year of mbbs the fees will be below 35k.

Campus Life

Gmc mahbubnagar has recently started student clubs(5) which promotes other activities and social life to the students and make them stress free. There are many books written by different authors present in the library. There will be events going on in the college for almost every occasion. If any student faces any problem in the college they can complaint to seniors and they will look after it. Our seniors are so good to us.

Hostel Facilities

There is a separate hostel for 1st yr girls but not for boys. Hotel of 1st yr girls is like an apartment where each flat(2bhk/3bhk) includes bedrooms (3 in each bedroom), attached washrooms, kitchen, wash area and balcony but from 2nd yr( single big rooms) each room includes 5-6 people and no attached washrooms in the rooms. Mess fees is 3200 per month where they provide chicken 3times a week and egg 3times a week. Banana is provided everyday in the lunch. Milk and tea will be given daily in the morning and evening

Admission

After writing neet(national eligibility cum entrance test) and scoring basic eligibility marks, we can apply for medical colleges during the counselling process.gmc mahbubnagar is one in top8 medical colleges of Telangana. If your a local candidate of Telangana, we need to pay 12k as registration fee.after getting admitted into the college we need to report to the college with all the original certificates and xeroxes. These documents will not be returned in middle of the course. If u leave the seat after getting admitted (in middle of the course) we need to pay penalty of 20 lakhs and will be debarred from writing neet for 3 years

Faculty

1st year of mbbs includes 3 subjects named anatomy physiology and biochemistry. Each subject is handled by HOD, assistant professors, tutors and pgs. All the above mentioned faculty will take the classes. Faculty are very kind and humble towards the students. During the labs, each batch(A,B,C) will be assigned one lab each day(mon,Tue,wed). Pgs will be around you to help you during the labs.

Night Life

College timings are 9am to 4pm. There are timings for boys in hostel but for girls it is 6pm, no outings will be encouraged for girls after 6 in the evening.there is gym facility in the hostels for both girls and boys, from 2nd yr of mbbs gym is allowed for everyone. There is a cafeteria just outside the college where there are lots lo items to eat(veg, egg, chicken, snacks, cakes, icecreams, etc) college surrounding(out the college) is not at all safe for girls after 8 in the night so there will be no allowance for girls after 6pm in evening

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.

Placement Experience:

There is no understanding of grounds arrangements in a clinical school however a normal compensation for an MBBS graduate is 45,000/ - to 50,000/ - each month. No placements were done without compensation.
