ECE early clinical exposures are too good for budding doctors It gives us a reality check of who we are and what we are AETCOM sessions sounds boring and useless i guess they have to make it more interesting Well planned exam schedule with plenty of time in between them

As a first year mbbs student we don't receive a lot of projects and all All we do is study eat and sleep As per our seniors advices internship here is very pathetic as they make them to work 8 to 5 in dayshift with minimal amount of rest and resources The stipend what they are receiving isn't sufficient for them

For those who got allocated govt seat they are supposed to pay 154321 and 60k is caution deposit along with 21k for books and for management it would be more than 1.4 cr as a whole sc st people pay 750 rs those who got govt seat can avail for ssp scholarship given by govt and there are many societies and institutions providing scholarships for needy we can avail from them

Not many fests are held as it is a conservative college inly ganesh chaturthi is held annually very grandly Three cricket tournaments are held yearly Class rooms are very well equipped Library got all the facilities available in it and necessary for students No student led groups are there

No wifi is given if given so then soeed wont clock above 1mbps Per room three members with three separate beds and study table along with sockets three almirahs and three cupboards are given Not much variety of food is given Standards of food is minimal Not totally worth 118k They usually allow you to stay outside

I had applied for smcri ( siddaganga medical college and research institute) along with aims ( adichunchanagiri institute of medical sciences) and ssims ( shyamnuru shivashankarappa institute of medical science) as i was not allocated any one of these my only option left was this college They had good cutoff ranks i lost all of them by 1-2k rank differences We are supposed to clear neet and appear in kea counselling the cutoff each year will be around 60k to 65k air

1:8 ratio of faculty is to students ratio provided Teachers are very much approachable and kind enough to teach us concepts once again People from anatomy (almost all) and few from biochemistry are way too good Few faculties don't pay heed to needs of students and they still follow old conservative and conventional teaching methods they should change it if they want to make students listen to them There will be three internals along with numerous part completion tests along with annual university exams Its ok if you failed all internals but if you are a very well behaved and disciplined student along with good attendance probably you stand a chance to get admission ticket for annual RGUHS exam They strictly follow cbme curriculum issued by nmc

Well equipped gymnasium is there in the college itself along with indoor shuttle court Hostel timings for first years is very strict evenings 5-6 and dinner from 7:30-8:15 Chai points around college are the very famous hangout spots Safe locality to roam
