I like the Nature of college campus, i like my department specially our Professors and their way of teaching
Our department has highly qualified and knowledgeable professor
They teach very well and it has more lab equipments

Dislikes

There no enough place for the department
No industrial visits related to the subject
There is no bench facility for the students

Course Curriculum Overview

Firstly my graduation lecture tell about the course and i don't know much about the course. But when i joined to course by seeing the way of teaching and aspects in the subject i feel i have made the right decision.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise: 50000 25000 per sem including admission fee, lab fee and all for ST. For management fee is 60000 For other categories it is 30000 per sem For ST category total 25000 will be payed back as scholarship

Campus Life

Our Campus having the good library facility to improve our knowledge regarding subject as well as society.And specially our biochemistry department has its own library and there are best books regarding the subject

Admission

Firstly i applied only for the sake of degree and i dont have enough percentage to apply for other college.But after joining to the course and department, i have realised that i got the best faculties and course.

Faculty

Our Faculties are high qualified, dignified and knowledgeable persons. They made students feel free to ask anything regarding the subject, career opportunities, doubts and also regarding the laboratory problems all.

Night Life

Our Hostel is very strict in terms of night timings and ladies security. The students should be there in hostel befor 7pm. And the place in our campus for hang out is that our campus nature and play ground etc.

My Experience: The good and the Bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

Our college provide very fantastic placements , in every year they invited two or three companies in our college to get placements us.In last semester the students are eligible for for campus placements.Shilpa biological industry, biocon industry both company are offered the placement in last year. they told they provide highest packages 800000 rupees per year and averages 400000 per year . In our department , 2 to 3 students are getting palcements. after i completed my degree , i want to research so i admitted in phd programmes.

BU needs more Improvement

Placement Experience:

After 3rd sem, we are eligible for campus placements. There'll be job drive for around 1 week where we get to attend. Commerce students get more opportunities rather than Botany students but nevertheless we get to work in medical feilds depending on interviews

I dint apply to any other colleges and there is no other colleges around Davangere which provide MSc in Computer Science.
