Government Engineering College, Rajkot Review

In my collage there is a lecture in the morning from 11 am to 1 pm then there is a break of half an hour and then there is a lecture from 1:30 pm to 3:30 and then there is a lecture from 3:45 pm to 5:45 pm . So in the half hour break given by this , if many students coming from far away do not get enough time to eat, then instead of the half- hour break , one hour break should be kept.

My college also give internship opportunity and with stipend is 12,500 rs. .Some faculties suggest and give guidance to improvement in projects. Many companies comes in my college like Blitzjob , Hermit Labs and SixtyFour Data Intelligence etc. for softwere developer / engineer.

In my College 8 semester students become eligible for campus placements .Many companies come in my college like TatvaSoft and average package is 3.5 LPA , Shaligram Infotech and average package is 3LPA .About 85% of students are placed , with the highest package being 7.5 lakhs per annum and the lowest being 3.5 lakhs per annum .top companies include L&T , Reliance , AM & NS and Adani . The college also offers internships to 75% of students.

I have to pay 1500 rs. fees every year in my collage, But at the same time i have pay 750 Institute fees , 40 library fees, 160 Lab fees, 150 Gymkhana fees, 100 Social Gathering fees, 100 Stationary fees and 200 Sessional fees , so that i have pay total fees is 2250 rs. in per year. 17000 rs. students get from MYSY scholarship , 25000 rs. students get from Shramik Scholarship and 11000 rs. students get from Digital Gujarat scholarship. This all types of Scholarships available for students.

In My college is organize sports, Cultural Activites , Technical events, Alumni Association etc. .Cultural Committe of my college takes care of all intra- inter collegiate Cultural events .The committee creates a platform that provides the students with an opportunity to display their creative talents in various areas and to explore their hidden talents.

In hostel give one cupboard and one bed per students.only 4 members in my room .Meal quality is average and every sunday make new items in my hostel . Government hostel fees is 2000 rs. per 6 months. There is two neem trees outside my hostel.

In this collage computer branch cut off was stuck st 8980. And when i was searching for a video in YouTube , I came to know that this government college has a fees of 1500 rs. and there are so many government college in Gujarat and the fees is more in private college than this government college and only take it in computer branch.

In my collage if there is a good relationship between student and faculty then more work is done in viva and submission.Sheetal mem's teaching style was very best , he used to explain all the Concepts and she take our PPS(Programming for Problem Solving). Some faculties only read all syllabus. Every semester mid sem exam is conducted in my collage which has 30 marks and passing marks is 12 and also conduct remid exam for students who has less than 12 marks.

Security is sitting outside department, hostel , library, collegecampus in my college all day.College is open till 6 pm only.And there is Street light all the way. A little further from college is a many snack shops.
