Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum has much relevance for competitive exams like Gate, ESE. They conduct exams 4 times in a semester. They cover all the topics in the curriculum. They also conduct lab experiments and examination.
Internships Opportunities
Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, Accela, Flipkart, Uber, etc., many other companies have given intern for the students. The roles offered was mainly software development. Many other roles are also offered like consulting, business development.
Placement Experience
After 6th semester that is after 3-2 you are eligible to participate in campus placements. Campus placements are very good. Median package is 15 LPA and highest is around 75LPA. They will help you at the time of your placements.

Campus Life
There will be 1 fest in 1 semester. Concetto and srijan are the two big fests. IIT Dhanbad has a large library. It is Asia's second largest library. You will find a vast variety of books. They have various clubs also.
Hostel Facilities
They provide hostel for students. 24 hours water facility, 24 hr current facility. They clean washrooms daily. But the food quality was not upto the mark. They provide canteen also, if you are awake late night.
Admission
Based on my rank in JEE Advanced, in josaa councelling I got a seat at IIT Dhanbad in electrical engineering. Upto round 6 I didn't get any other college seat. So finally I froze this option and got admission at IIT Dhanbad.
Faculty
IIT Dhanbad has a very good faculty. They have good experience in teaching. Each branch has good course structure so that students can appear for gate and other competitive exams. Exam structure : Two quizzes, one mid semester, on end semester Marking scheme : Relative grading scheme A+ -10 A - 9 B+ - 8 B - 7 C+ - 6 C - 5 D - 4 Any other is fail
Night Life
There is a Student Activity Center, where you can find gym, swimming pool and various sports activity. Each hostel has canteen also. There is a place Ruby Park where you can hangout with your friends.
