Likes
- College is serious about study and internships/job. They provide you the opportunity to work in 3rd semester only so you get experience before even graduation. And for this they bring companies to campus so everyone can get internship which is good.
- Our college has a facility like doubt solving if you were absent or you have any doubt in the topic taught you can go to your faculty and clear the topic after college time. And they teach you with enthusiasm.
- College time is flexible so you can enroll yourself in other activities after college. And also there are sports activities and tournaments in college every year.
Dislikes
- Canteen facility is not so good.They have a canteen which is like too much crowded in break so you can't get things on time every time.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are no such aspects which influenced me to take it but just that this college teaches you everything instead other just completes the syllabus. In our college there is feedback system so every 2 months we give feedback and they improve likewise. So no improvementa needed for now. The frequency and timings of exam are perfect.
Internships Opportunities
So I got internship in Ahmedabad based company as a Salesforce Intern in which the stipend was 5000 per month and job opportunity with good package. Mostly the roles offered to us were java developer, python developer, Mern stack developer, Full Stack developer, Frontend developer, Backend developer, something in SQL and many more.
Placement Experience
I am currently in semester 5 so I don't have much idea about placement drive but in internship drive the max stipend anyone got is 15000/- per month and after the internship the package is like 4-5 lpa. The average stipend is 6-12k per month. More than 60% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am in management quota and my fees is 42500/- per semester including all the small fees like exam fees,etc. My batchmates who have taken admission through NRI quota have to pay 125000/- per year (Not sure about exact amount but nearly) . And the other one is state quota in which the students pay only 6000/- per semester so like 12000/- per year. Scholarship available are as below: 1. MYSY for gujarat students 2. Vidhyasaarthi 3. CMSS 4. Pragati Yojna for girls 5. Digital Gujarat The amount of all this scholarships vary.
Campus Life
Events in our college: 1. Innovation village (Feb) 2. Sports tournament (April) 3. Days celebration in Feb In library, you can get each and every book you need in your engineering. And our college has its own magazine also. In sports, you can play volleyball, table tennis, cricket, basketball, badminton, etc. There are no clubs in our college. We just have an Instagram account in which students are connected.
Admission
As I mentioned above I got rejected in a particular field which I want and that due marks. Our college accepts direct admission through JEE and GUJCET marks. The other method is to apply in ACPC which is the counselling process for Gujarat in which they consider GUJCET and JEE mains marks. Majorly all the students in our college got admission through GUJCET marks it is the most preferred exam of LJ 's students. I don't have much idea about the cutoff here.
Faculty
Our college has wide range of faculties for every subjects and the faculties are too supportive and they are willing to teach you till you don't get the point. Our exam system is like we have exams every month of 25 marks and there are 4 such exams.The difficulty level of this exam is easy to medium.
Night Life
There is no night life in our college because our college don't have hostel so you can't stay there. You have to leave the campus at 6:00 in evening. After that no one is allowed in college. And we have one common canteen which is just ok.
