AIIMS Rishikesh college overview

Academics here are quite rigorous and one has to study religiously to sail through exams .Curriculum is almost the same as covered in other medical colleges or other AIIMS . Pre clinical and para clinical subjects are taught with clinical application.

Internship is provided by the college itself after completion of the 4 and a half year course. Being a central institute interns are paid 30 thousand rupees as stipend which is significant more than what is being provided in the state colleges and the exposure is also quite good

There is one time fees submission of 11500 rupees at the time of admission which covers the entire fees of four and a half years. In addition to that 2000 rupees needs to be paid during each professional exams as exam fee of all exams conducted during the entire course of one year that includes mid and end semesters and pre proff and in order to receive your marksheet. So that sums the fees to 19500 which is quite feasible and affordable for most section of people. There is no fees based on category.

Campus life is amazing. Our annual fest is pyrexia which is conducted with great enthusiasm and is a major event every year. The college is located at the bank of ganges .The scenic beauty is quite mesmerizing. Although city life may not be that compelling but the serenity and nature connect is a thing that can be surely vouched for.

Hostel facilities are good.we are provided a wardrobe so overall ample space to accommodate things and also a chair and table is provided. Mess food is quite good and is managed by students body so it's quality is always maintained and is hygienic.

I was able to get this college based on my rank in the entrance. The reason behind choosing rishikesh was the serene beauty of the city, it's spiritual connect . I also opted rishikesh over others because exams here are more rigorous and MCQ based hence one can prepare for Next or NEET PG as well

Faculties are quite good . they keep the classes quite interactive and will always try to deliver you the things in the best of the ways . Their are 4 exams conducted each year . All exams have 2 papers , one being MCQ based so thatbis quite useful considering NEXT or NEET PG since the questions are clinically oriented. There are also multiple tests that will be happening around all the year long .

Rishikesh is well known for tourism. Hence there are ample of restaurants and good places for foodies. Library in the campus itself is open 24/7. Gym opens from 5 am in the morning to 9 pm till night.
