What Students Say
Likes
- Freedom:- we can roam around in campus 24/7 even in midnight
- Class timings:- We have a lot of time in between each classes and attendance isn't much issue
- Food stalls:- They are open most of the times almost 24/7
Dislikes
- It is far from main city and dominos and other food deliveries take time and food sometimes get cold
- I don't like mess's food personally, although students say it's better than most of the other college's mess
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is pretty standard, since I already know about coding I am more than eligible to talk about what's in the curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness, I can tell you that it certainly doesn't contain everything that you should know, BUT it does contain most of the important things in it, overall I would rate it 7/10, also they are trying to teach many relevant subjects that will help in the understanding of coding, BTW they do teach everything that there is in syllabus.
Placement Experience
Placements are decent, college brings us companies it's the student who can't crack them I mean what can placement cell do if you can't even crack the interview of tcs, but for those who can crack it, they get nice placements, I would say if you are decent in coding and know your stuff you can crack up to 30lpa easily just from on-campus placements
Fees and Financial Aid
The below details are for Computer Science:- Registration fees(One time):- 45000 Security fees(One time):- 30000 For securing admission seat:- 1,00,000 (will be deducted from first semester fees). Hostel fees:- 1,50,000(yearly for triple sharing) Fees go semester-wise First semester fees after deduction earlier 1Lac rs is 91,000 From the second semester onwards Tuition fees:- 1,91,000 Hostel fees:- 75,000 if you don't opt for hostel fees you'll have to pay an additional 13,000rs for sports and other charges Scholarship based on 12th marks:- 80%-84.99%:- 10% 85%-89,99%:- 20% 90%-94.99%:- 35% above 95%:- 50%
Campus Life
There are a LOT of things going on in college, a LOT of events and club activities, infrastructure IS REALLY great you can google it and check for yourself, about social aspects ITS TOO MUCH, it's like the whole place is filled with extroverts, each day something or the other is happening, it's just too much bruh, so if you are extrovert person, this place is like a heaven for you, if you are a introvert then uhh good luck i guess
Hostel Facilities
Okay here get things tricky i dont like hostel rooms, they are pretty small, and there's no option for single sharing NOT EVEN FOR DOUBLE SHARING, in first year there were double sharing but now it's all triple sharing, and rooms are all small, although those facility is great, you can call cleaning staff and get them to clean your room anytime you want, washrooms are pretty good there are nice big mirrors and good lighting, shower gives both hot and cold water during whole year no matter which season
Admission
I wanted a college that gives merit-based admission since I never wanted to do BTECH CSE but sudden change in my plans. I had to choose something to study, so I took the safer option and chose cse, I didn't give Jee or cuet since you know I wasn't planning to do btech anyways, so I wanted a merit-based university, Now after I became good in coding, I got to know that this college is pretty good for learning coding since the problem with other colleges is that they don't get time to learn anything themselves or practice anything. You should know that in coding only self-learning and practice are gonna help, and in my university, there's a LOT OF FREE TIME, so it depends upon YOU if you want to use that time partying with others and wasting it or coding and learning.
Faculty
The faculty is good there's gonna be exceptions some might not be that good, but most of them know what they are teaching, if students focus on classes they can ace exams easily, Exams are really easy most of the questions come directly from assignments and tutorial sheets, teachers will tell important topics before exam, Marking scheme is relative, meaning if the average marks of everyone are 34/100 then you'll get 8 cgpa if you get 35/100, Also one of the best things is Total marks for semester consists of a large portion of internals so you can pass easily since you don't have to pass separately in exam
Night Life
Nightlife is awesome, college is lively even after midnight till morning most of the people just keep roaming around, although most of them are couples -_- , people do jamming or random shenanigans whole night, it's pretty lively, food stalls are mostly open almost 24/7 so that's great, you can go eat whenever you are hungry which is my favourite thing
