IPU adopted syllabus is followed in the college. Question papers for all the mid sem and end sem comes for the university only. Teachers are good and their teaching methods are also good. Overall course curriculum is good.

Placements are decent and not that great. Please don't expect too much from the college regarding the placement. You need to work hard to crack a good offcampus placement. Companies do visit here butajority of them don't offer full time roles, instead they offer internship and then based on your intership performance they decide your salary package. And this happens in the 4th year. Companies like TCS and infosys also visit here for mass recruiting.

The total annual fees of GTBIT is around 158500. Out of which the total tution fees is 116000. University charges are 20000 and examination fees is 3000. Rest of the fees is for book bank(refundable), caution money(refundable) and alumni contribution charges. This fees is for 1st year only, after 2nd year the annual fees is reduced to around 139000 per year.

There are many clubs and societies including NCC and NSS which you can join here in the college. As there is minority quota for sikhs, so you will find many sikhs here. If you manage to get some good friends you will enjoy your college life. Overall your college life depends upon you.

The admission process is simple, you just need to register on the ipu admission portal. Once the counselling starts you need to make your preference list for round 1. After you are alloted a seat you need to pay part academic fees of 96000 and after that you need to freeze and at last you need to report at the college and pay the remaining fees. Admission are based on jee results only. Just you need to fill the ipu counselling forms after the jee results.

In Computer Science there are total 180 students divided in 3 sections of 60 students each. So you will have a class of 60 students. In one semester you will have two mid sems and one final end sem. Mid sems happens right in the college only and for end sems you get centre in differnt ipu College. Faculty members are overall good and will help you through out your course.

No the procedure was very simple and online. No group discussion was held. Admission was based on jee results only. You need to write Jee Mains and after the results you just need to fill online ipu counselling form.

There isn't any hostel in the college campus but you can get pg near the college at walking distance. The college is situated at a commercial area. Hari nagar sport complex is just few steps away from college. You can play any sport there just by paying the entry fees. Other than this pacific mall is just 2km away from college. You can also go there after your classes. There is park nearby where you can chill after your classes.
