Facts 101.

My reason to choose this course was keenly dependent on my interest n passion for building and constructing newer form . Faculty is amazing in what they do and teach . Also india is in its intial stages to accept architecture.that's one of reason for less placement anywhere..be it here or any other college

In total we have to deposit 81,000 per semester which makes it approz 160000 per year...n hostel fees is 40000 for odd semester and 250000 for even semester making it a total of 65000 per year. There are financial aid available for less income generating families...like below 5 lac..and below 1 lac per annum....they also depend upon the caste...for example obc student with family income less than 1 lac ..gets to pay only 20000 per semester and a total of 40000 per year instead of 160000.

There are basically 2 major events held a year: one is technical and another is cultural named nimbus and hill'fair respectively. There are several small events also that takes place here for example fall fiesta, bollywood night,campus star ,and many more We have a huge library which provides us huge range of books its very accessible to every student. Sport and extracurricular activities are a radial part of this college, you will never regret choosing nit hamirpur for the same.sports and extracurricular takes place very often. There are many clubs and society that is run by the students for literally learning or enjoying anything they have it all, be it dance,music,coding,photography, etc

Sports equipment are available to us in the hostel, girls hostel has really good menu ,the menu changes after 3 months .there's always different food each week and good taste. We got to pay 65000 par year to the hostel including mess charges..making it a decent charges according to the mess menu and quality. There are pgs also available outside the campus but mostly students prefer hostel as the campus is really widely spread .

Ohh...nit hamirpur has really good faculty and they always try their best to provide us the max information.. they organize a lots of events for us to interact with architecture students of other college, we work together on a same project. Recently they called design students of chandigarh University to design a building...

The ratio for faculty to students is really good..although at some point for architecture branch it went down but they maintained it the very next year. Faculty is very helpful and organise lot of events for architecture students for exposure

Gym runs in 2 slots and we have separate gym for girls and boys..morning time is 5-8 and evening 5-9. Cafeterias shuts at around 9 which is ok for us because we have to inside the hostels by 9:30 but some general stores stays open till 10 also.
