Likes

SRM has a very large campus which is like a small city in itself.
The reputation SRM holds within the group of other universities is way above others
We can get to meet all kind of people around India and also some foreigners too.

Dislikes

Cost is too high and it’s not worth the money
Adapting to food taste could really be a problem
Language barrier is big problem and also biaseness towards locals

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is good it sticks to your chosen field and shapes us accordingly also college helps us to explore other aspects such as different languages and traditions,So course curriculum is one of the things I appreciate

Class Size: 73Course Fees: INR 375000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship opportunities available in my college also we can find internship on our own,the college is very proactive for internship hence they grand permission even at early stages which is 2-3year

Placement Experience

Placements are good ,people get mass selected and hence ratio is good but average salary is 400000-500000 ,cause it has connections with many company but than you won't able to work in your chosen field as you would be mass selected for small works compared to your qualifications

Fees and Financial Aid

SRM University has fees of range of 300000-600000 per annum and then hostel fees ,also all the other extra costs.Scholarship is rare and in most cases not available for any other students,according to me the college is not worth the money

Campus Life

There are many clubs in SRM therefore students can choose according to there interest and gives time and exposure for it ,even the attendance is granted under OD ,hence SRM gives many clubs for all hobby accessible by everyone

Admission

I choose this because it has a big name build in the outer world for itself i.e one of the best colleges of India, but the truth turns out to be the opposite, also the site and photos were eye-catching hence I choose this college

Faculty

We have 3 internal exams per sem and a final University exam at the end of the sem,the faculties are okayish cause many of them don't know how to speak proper English also the teaching is okayish,overall it's good

Night Life

There is no night life in SRM, the college is located outside the city hence going to city is a tough job ,also the host elites cannot leave after 9pm , and there is both biometric and offline atttendence taken everyday

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG. Entrance is their for SRM University and one has to clear that to get admission here.
