Course Curriculum Overview

3

Other course curriculums werte definetly harsher than our course timings. Law people had to attend classes from 8:30am to 4:30pm just like B.Tech students. B.Tech students ahd labs most of the days and even though law students had fewer subjects than us, their syllabus was way more compared to ours.

Internships Opportunities

3

We get lot of internship opportunities from various companies, some established as "Great places to work" and some startups too. It depends on what youre looking for in an intership basically that will matter. Some internships do not let you apply if you have backlogs, but some intermships do let you apply even if you have backlogs.

Placement Experience

3

The placements are decent. You should not have any backlogs if youre applying for placements. Other than that theres not much to say. the average placement package last year was 8,50,000 and the highest was 60,00,000.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fee structure was 250000 and my course was 3 years long, so 750000 for 3 years. B.Com fee structure was the same as BBA. My hostel fee structure was 84000 per semester for the first year and then it got bumped upto 96000 per semester. Hostel fees included 4 meals which included Breakfast, lunch, snack in the evening and dinner. Apart from food, we also got laundry, which was 14kgs per month, and you could only put 7kgs per wash so basically 7kgs every 2 weeks. The hostel curfew timings were be in the hostel before 10PM. The hostels were decent and if we had ordered food from outside (Swiggy, Zomato or any parcel) we couldnt take it inside our hastel and we had to eat it downstairs (Hostel had some tables where we could sit and eat).

Campus Life

3

We had 2 specific events called Alliance One, where we represented groups of people as states of india and did cultural and athletic challenges and were given awards for that. There are many events conducted for the festivals we get like Ganesh Chaturthi and Onam.

Hostel Facilities

3

I was provided with a 2 sharing room, so it was supposed to be me and 1 more person but we ended up with 4 people in our room. But we never had any issues because it was basically like a mini 1bhk apartment. We had a 2 rooms, where 2 people slept per room and we had a kitchen and a balcony. We cant cook anything in the kitchen because we arent suppsoed to have any utensils or machine, not even kettels

Admission

I had not applied for any other colleges due to persobnal family reasons and i chose this college because it was the only one i apllied to and all the other college deadlines were passed. Not that i regret studying here or anything but i still feel like i couldve done better.

Faculty

2

The faculty was good, we had docterate professors teacing us all the subjects we need to know. They help us learn both academically and personally. But then again, every university has its short comings. Sometimes we get too many projects at once to complete and other times none.

Interview Experience

4

yes, we had a test as well as a individual interview. The test was pretty a basic apptitude test, and the interviewer was chill, and asked me about my schooling, hobbies, family aand etc, just the basic stuff.

Night Life

1

Theres no nightlife around our college because we are situated 20kms approximately from the city and theres hostel curfew so we cannot stay later than 10pm outside. Theres a gym inside the campus, which is open from 5 to 10 in the morning and 5 to 9 in the evenings

Placement Experience:

TAPMI has various other colleges in the campus as it's neighbours. So I have seen those placements as we will be the second batch to qualify for placements. TAPMI first batch is yet to be placed but TAPMI Manipal UG placements would be likewise only as we have been assured of that.

Placement Experience:

For project work various corporate houses have inked deals with TAPMI and therefore even though no batch of BBA Hons has been placed so far but those are the organisation who will take our services. For our services our university has set of standard of 5 LPA. So I feel median would be more or less upto 8-9 LPA.

I was first to register and i hope I become the first student at TAPMI to have placements as well. Placements will begin for TAPMI Bengaluru for the first time in 2026 December and the wait is on. As far as the history and TAPMI Manipal who is our sister college goes, I think each student will be having an offer letter of 5-10 LPA.

Placement Experience:

We will be the first one to be placed but as per reports university has made tie-ups and we will be sitting for interviews from this year. There are challenges as companies have been informed that no student will be provided below a package of 5 lakhs so I feel median would be around 8 lakhs or so which is as good as engineering students.

So far in Bengaluru the first batch will start it's placements from 2027 so it is still hanging. However TAPMI Manipal can be taken in context as the same set of companies for sure will be here for placements and companies like JP Morgan Chasez Yes Bank and others the ones with whom TAPMI has their tie-ups with.

The university has plenty of opportunities but it depends how the student makes use of those. There is a departnment called CAN office (Career Advancement and Networking) speically dedicated to assist students with internship and placement opportunities. The average package for BBA is 6.5 lpa. 90 percent of the students are placed every year.
