Course Curriculum Overview

I believe their is no difficulty in exams 3 hours is more then enough. And before final exams their is college test which is conducted batch wise. And I always wanted to work in hotel industry or tourism industry that's why I choose this course and second thing is that hospitality industry is very vast industry.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 49000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of students are very less if comparing with other colleges yearly fees will be 49000 and for 3 years it will be 3lakh. and their is scholarship scheme as well.They are for thode students who comes from reserved status.they provide best education and personality development and grooming classes. If students need some part time jobs so college also provide them

Campus Life

Fresher parties in April month Diwali party held at college Farewell party in Feb or March Teaches day 4th September Smart classes are their teachers are from industry who have more knowledge Many sports activities are their Sports day also celebrated in college

Admission

No I didn't get rejected from others colleges and I didn't applied for other colleges because I got selected in this college in 1st trail and I am more then happy that I choose this college. You have to have the entrance test and after clearing that fill regtation form and fees Of University then get enrolled after that you can deposit your some of fee amount

Faculty

Sunita mam and Narayan sir they both are running this organisation or college. Other faculties member are anoop sir pandey sir Sunil sir and many more they are always their to help you in any kind of problem. They provide 3 years BHM degree,5 years BALLB 2 years master's degree in tourism

Night Life

They have a library so college students who want to read books they can read. Hostel campus is very clean and very safe timings were 6pm. And we enjoyed alot in hostels. Locality is very safe around the college and their is many places

Realistic and Valid

Course Curriculum Overview:

I came here just because I was confused regarding the further studies I personally didn't choose this course and I am not that fan of hotel industry and I'm pursuing HM here I don't think they will be enough prepared for the real world here gotta do that with ourselves only better not fully rely here Yeah by conducting more practicals instead of making us mug up the theories Yeah there are many irrelevant subject they taught us here at HM department too Like EMS, RMT etc

Placement Experience:

From 5 semester students are eligible to sit in the placement and after 6 semester they have to join the company in which they are selected There are so many hotels chain and relatils company are come in our college like hyatt group , oberoi group, taj group, itc group, pride group, welcome group, accour group and other retailes chain like Pyramid and many more Highest package that is given is 11 lakhs that is given by pyramid group that is retail group and the average is 3-4 lakhs that's is given by Hyatt and taj Basically there is no criteria to sit in placement but your all back should be clear and atleast you have a percentage of 4 cgpa should be happen that was a minimum criteria My plan is to crack management training program in big and international brand and join the international group like Oberoi, Taj, Hyatt and any other

I left the internship as it was way too much hectic for me

Placement Experience:

The college is good in terms of placement teachers will call your family if you do not sit in the placements that's good around 30 % of students gets MT and others can easily get the jobs if you are still interested in this field no one likes to be sitted in placement after the intership so it also gets easy for you to get the placements easily as competition gets much lower

Pros and cons for taking admission in ihm shimla

Placement Experience:

Semester 5 year 3 students are eligible for college placement it's upto students if they want self or college placement I would suggest you to take college placement. Sit for every company. For this year highest package was 12 l.per annum and lowest was 4 .our college help the student to be placed. Retail company also comes including hotels like the oberoi, taj,Leelaand for retail bira 91, Calvin Klein etc and for international ADNH COMPASS has contacted ihm Shimla.

peaceful environment for students.

Remarks:

APG Shimla University is located in the lap of mountains providing a peaceful environment for students. Infrastructure of the university is nice providing sports facilities, e-library were students can read books online as the university provides Wi-Fi facilities as well. Faculty members are well-qualified and help students if they face any problem with the subjects.
