Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is a bit outdated if I say but we can't blame them because the subject is such as well. The real world application to the paper is very limited but the insights and ideas we learn form learning some of the portions can be applied in the society.

Internships Opportunities

2

The college does not provide much internship opportunities to the students. There was many job cells coming for the management students but not many for art subjects. But we did have final year projects and works that we needed to work on.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees I payed on an average was 3000 as tution fees approximately and there was a caution deposit of 5000 as well. There were also many scholarships available based on categories. The SC/ST had relatively less fees and did not have to pay hostel fees.

Campus Life

4

I had a very good campus life. My class itself was a socially active one. We held Friday talks every Friday which was a great debate platform. I was part of NCC. And there were a lot of celebrations on festivals such as onam, Christmas, vishu etc

Admission

I had applied for mutiple colleges and got confirmation from all of them as well. But my aunt had studies in this particular college and had told me about all the opportunities and facilities available here so I chose this over the others.

Faculty

4

We had 3 faculties for approximately 60 students. And we had a pretty good relationship with them as well. They were very approachable and easy to talk with and share ideas. We had about 2 internals for each semester on 6 papers which differ for different semesters and 3 final semester exams. Internals where pretty easy but semester exams where ones we had to work on. And not more than 5 or 10 failed in our class.

Interview Experience

3

Yeah there was an interview session with the some teachers and facilities. It was not that hard or anything. They reviewed our papers and asked some questions that's it. It was pretty easy to clear. That was during the admission process

Night Life

4

Nightlife is not that great when you're in hostel because the hostel timing is till 6. But there are many hangout spots near and around the campus where we can have tea, coffee, juice etc. The locality is safe to be around at nights. But you will be judged though.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching, the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Placement Experience:

From the last semester pass out we a re eligible for the campus recruitment for job or placement. So many companies visit us for the interview or some checking like , hero honda , maruti suzuki etc. the main reason for it was a low amount of budget is that get from this placement maybe 15 thousand let month ect. Only the company can take the students for it so the percentage of the students who getting placement will change in every year. My plan was to get an admission in the central government University for doing master of degree in History. And try the best exam called upsc.

Economic somehow teaches us how to manage in real world.. I can connect a lot more to real world while learning economics. It is a little too difficult to learn for sem exams. The sem exam is just in 50/70 marks.. The exam timing is 1 1/2 or 2 hrs.
