I choose Sri Venkateswara college in DU before Manav Rachna. I also got admitted in the first cutoff list because I had scored 91 % in my 12th boards. The reason I didn't join that college is just because of the distance. I love in Faridabad with my family and the travelling to Satya niketan would be almost 1.5 hours one side each day. I didn't want to tire myself with that. Whereas manav Rachna is 10 mins away from my house walking distance. The addmission at manan rachna was quite easy and there was not even a entrance test for the simple entrance. There was a entrance test only for students who wanted to apply for scholarships. I applied through a referral and filled out the forms required by them with all my details and paid the fees and it was done. Private colleges in India I feel are more concerned about the money from students and not concerned about the quality of students they're admitting into their colleges. I choose this college because it was nearest to me and I can't go to another colleges because they are too far from my address and overall in my area. This college has a better environment than other colleges. I did not apply in any other college because they are not having a good environment and a good faculty also, just infrastructure was not good, and the colleges with good NIRF ranking was far from me For the admission process.
