Farook College- A campus life you'll never regret.

The course curriculum for BA Sociology is a comprehensive one with history and psychology as its complementary subjects. The exams are also conducted in a timely manner. 75 Percentage attendance is required. Field visits are also a part of the curriculum.

Tuition Fee is approximately around 3000 per year. Caution deposit of 5000 is to be paid while taking admission. SC,ST and other non creamy layers are eligible to avail egrant scholarship. Various scholarships are available according to your marks both state and central.

Campus life Farook provides is very much memorable. Youth festivals, inter departmental competitions, sports and various other programmes are held every year. The college has a vast library with a huge collection of books. It is one of the largest in kerala. The classrooms have great infrastructure with projectors, mics and every other requirements. Various clubs are active in the campus and they give students a better college life and experiences. Various sports events are promoted and being trained under expert faculties.

Single rooms are not available. Rooms have to be shared with 2 or 3 people. The food quality is ok. The menu can be changed by the students if necessary. The monthly hostel fee is around 5000 rupees. Many PG facilities are also available near the campus according to our wish

Farook College has the best Sociology Department in Kerala, which made me and most of my batchmates choose the college. The Institution requires and admits students with top 1% marks. I've not applied anywhere else. Even those who get admitted via management quota pays the same fees and require to marks to get admission. The eligibility is purely based on your previous merit.

The college has a great set of Faculties in every department who are very much friendly and easy to approach. Dr. Badhariya Beegum HoD of department of Sociology. All the faculties are great. Exams are conducted timely for every semester along with internal assessments.

Hostel timing for girls is 6.00pm and for boys it is 9.00. There is not much night life around the campus but you can go to Calicut city anytime. Many hangout spots and cafeterias are available including the college canteen.
