If you want to study hard then only join this else go for other Nit's which have better on campus oppurtunity

So i was not that much aware of the course curriculum during my admission it was like if am getting cse then take for me I was touching the computer for the 1st time in college it self. So whatever is taught in college is useless for real-world scenario (If you study the topics own your own then it will help) I think from 1sem it self college should start teaching departmental subjects and they should also teach about latest technologies and help us to get real world experience.So instead of theory just teach us how the things works in real world In 1st sem everything will be fast based you will have extra class and mid sem will we in oct and end some will be in nov from 2nd sem start from jan mid sem will be around march and end sem in may

Look in CSE only service-based companies generally come but if you have skill then you can go for off-campus till 2021 college placements were pretty average but now it's below average this year itself highest till now is 10 LPA (2025 batch passout) For other branches core companies will come and they will pay you from 6lpa to 10 lpa . Highest for 2025(7th sem ) 10lpa Lowest for 2025(7th sem ) 4 lpa Average is around 6 to 7 lpa I hope in the 8th sem more companies will come and offer better pay

1st-.SEM FEE A. One time fee ->7300 this will include your admission fee grade fee , medical fee, I card fee, library deposit B.sem fee-> 69700 this will include tuition fee ,comp fee etc C.one time hostel fee -3500 D. Semester Fee(FOR HOSTEL) -32000 so in 1st sem total fee is 112500 2nd to 8thsem A. semester fee ->69700(tuition fee --62500) B.sem hos fee->32000 so total is 101700 Tution fee is off for sc/st so they have to pay (1st sem 50000 and in 2nd sem 39200 so total is 89200 for one year) If your family income is less than 1 lakh per annum then you have to pay same as sc st i.e 89200 in a year If your family income is between 1.0lakh per annum to 5 .0 lakh per annum then you have to pay 2/3rd of tuition fee

Our college has Ekarthin Fest which is held in March It is a tech cum cultural fest from the year 2025 we are planning to organise Tech Fest Tech Avinya Our campus's new building is under construction we have a descent classroom not a smart class room and labs are average Clubs are just for name not activity organise by the clubs For sports we have a under construction football stadium fact our college was the runnerup for the 2 time in inter nit football We have gym not much equipment and badminton court and a cricket net and basket ball court

Hostels are descent you get bed table chair and fan in the room and rooms condition is below average Mess food I will give 3/5 rating not that bekar and not that much acha You have to stay in the hostels Everything will be done by college you have to just psy your fee

So look i was getting mechanical in nit patna ,silchar etc and below mech in rest of the other nits but I joined because of the CSE as getting only in this but now I regret my decision because this college is not made for cse as their is not the culture of coding but ya things are improving .I hope in 2 to 3years this college will improve .I regret so much after joining the college that I was kind of depressed for one year.Now I made my mind jo hota hai ache ke liye hota hai so keep studying. You have to clear jee mains and to get cse for obc your rank should be below 50k and for general below 30 k and for locals nagas they get cse around 4 to 7 lakh rank. I didn't get rejected from other college like in JOSSA councling I get mech in Nit patna then I withdrawn .One of my shubchintak told me to do so and applied for this in csab and regret my decision

So I think in each dept around 6 to 10 faculties are there and each dept has around 30 students in each class For me I liked cse dept all faculties as they are helpful and always motivate you to do some thing extra like shouvik dey sir and nagaraju sir they are the star faculties of cse dept I can't directly name the faculties but some faculties are here who don't know how to teach sorry I am using this word but if you get in his class then will you understand why I am saying this . So in each sem there will be 2 quiz (either quiz or assignment) of 10 10 marks and they will directly contribute in 100 marks then 50 marks mid sem so in final 100 50 is considered as 30 if you are getting 50 marks in mid sem then it means you are getting 30 and for end sem 100 marks 50 is considered if you are getting 100 then 50 will be count this will make overall 100 marks and exams are easy they will give whatever they have taught in the class nothing extra

Our college campus has a gym with old equipment and a new library is under construction. one canteen is their (south canteen ) and one general purpose store , a small clinic and atm machine for the boys hostel timing is around 7pm you cannot go out of the campus but you can go any where inside the campus at anytime no restrictions you can go and chill in Chumkedima
