Remarks

Place wise its not good as it situated in bery bad location else everything is good

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As i opted for Civil engineering as my couse in my college & still in the first year its tough for me for judging my college as its too early for me. But form my experience of Six month in my college i can say that the curriculum is pretty good & there are smart classes that we use to attend there are many clubs to for gaining experience like my favourite robotics club Thus form all my experience up until now i can say mu college is not only providing us education but also giving us in field experience through various clubs

Placement Experience

3.5

average placement are about 4-5 lakhs per annum. But depending upon the branch they be as high as 9-10 lpa. internships are also pretty good as it provide internship in many large cap companys

College Events

3

Biggest event is ekharithian in my college. which is also seen as the biggest event in entire nagaland people form different college & different place of nagaland come to see our fest. it is a 2 day fest & a techno - cutural event which is organized by our 3rd year

Fee Structure And Facilities

Depend upon your financial background. for me it's around 70k a year. for other whose parental income is between 1 to 5 lakhs than its 140k a year & if its above 5 lakhs than fees is around 2lakhs. i think fees structure is quite feasible. but as this is a government college we expected it to be lower than this

Fees and Financial Aid

No i havent as i belong to general category. and we live in a country were talent is also measured based on your status weather u r a sc/st or obc than u can get scholarships but if you belong to general category than according to leaders of our nation we dont have any talent and we cant opt for any type of scholarship in our country

Campus Life

3.5

College life is quite good. we have a pretty good gender ratio of 4:1 ie for every 4 boys we have a girl and thats quite amazing for an engineering college. we got a very good diversity as we got student from different part of India and everyone lives peacefully here

Hostel Facilities

3

yes i have opted for hostels as in nit it's compulsory for the student to live in hostels. hostel are very good and are comparable to hostels of Iit which is the top standard of engineering college hostels in india

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah we have a pretty senior to junior relations in our college. different groups are formed which helps junior to react with senior & vice versa

Admission

First i have to give jee mains exam. i clear it and got chance to give jee advance but was unable to clear it. Counselling of the engineering student happens through Jossa so i also took part in it. As i obtained 95 percentile in my jee mains exam i was among the top 5% engineering students in india i was in upper side of the curve for getting a good college in it. but still due to so much competition i was only able to get NIT NAGALAND that to in the 7th round of jossa counselling

Faculty

4

College has provided us with unique id & a password to every student though which he can assess any faculty. faculty member are very good and everyone hold a phd degree in there different fields. every faculty member provide us with knowledge in every aspect of engineering

Placement Experience:

Look in CSE only service-based companies generally come but if you have skill then you can go for off-campus till 2021 college placements were pretty average but now it's below average this year itself highest till now is 10 LPA (2025 batch passout) For other branches core companies will come and they will pay you from 6lpa to 10 lpa . Highest for 2025(7th sem ) 10lpa Lowest for 2025(7th sem ) 4 lpa Average is around 6 to 7 lpa I hope in the 8th sem more companies will come and offer better pay

Course Curriculum Overview:

After learning about all the different courses I thought of going for soil science as it is the basis of all the other agricultural sciences. Practical classes exposes us to various real world experiences. The only area where our college can improve is providing better facilities for practicals. The frequency is timing of exams is very comfortable.

For CSE, I choose this college. The girl's-boys ratio in our college is 1:3. To pass the exams is not that much difficult but getting a good score is quite difficult. The professors are friendly and they teach us very well.
