An Honest Insight : My experience at Chitkara University

Teaching behaviour of faculty and taking care of students at every perspective. Professors prepare us for real time industry placements and challenges and how to overcome them. I don't think there is any need for any improvement in teaching methods. Every 1.5 month mid term exams are scheduled and in the end end term exam is scheduled

Microsoft, Palo Alto networks, IBM , infosys, HCL , coding ninjas , Dell etc .. and many more companies come every year for hiring students. Students with guidance of professors and mentors makes new and innovative projects every year which are being selected at different level and most of the companies hire students on the basis of there projects.which they make throughout the course Duration.

From 6th semester students get elegible for placements. Over 300+ companies visited last year with more then 600 offers. Over 95% students placed last year by incampus placement drives. I am sure about placement and chitkara University assures placement of a child who is hardworking.

206600 fees for 2 semesters. 70000 for 1 semester for academics and 33300 for hostel. There are not any hidden charges, no reservations,no lab fees and other charges. Scholarships are provided to students having 10 cgpa and financial aid is also provided by the university.

Every months hackathons and fests are held at chitkara University some of the hackathons.include codewars, hackindia etc . Each and every book is available to students at library. And if any book is not available he/she can make a request online through the library official website and book is made available within a week. The classrooms are well equipped with AC and wifi and there is electricity supply 24x7 with charging points at every desk. Sports arena is made for students where they can play different games like badminton, chess , carrom board , snooker etc .. Over 14 clubs are present at chitkara University which provides different programs and events to students.

Cooler is provided at every floor . Along with it high speed wifi is available and 24x7 power supply is provided to students. Mess food is hygiene and good comparing other colleges and universities . Hostel is provided on first come first serve basis. If someone wants pg they can check kalujhanda and pinjore.

I applied for lpu jalandhar but my 1st preference was chitkara University as chitkara University takes limited admissions and provide best and quality education and placements. For getting admission in chitkara University one needs to be attentive as seats fill fast in chitkara University and 60% in 12th class is necessary and there is no scope of getting admission with donations .

The faculty-student relationship is very good at chitkara University.there is no discrimination. Everyone is same and equal. Mr. Girish rao . Best ever professor ever met in life . His way of teaching is Totally different from others . 3 mid term exams and 1 end term exam. Exams are very easy to clear .just need to be attentive in classes and prepare the notes for the same.

Students can walk in university till 10 pm . Gym facilities are available to everyone with an monthly fees of Rs 1800. Libraries are well equipped with AC and wifi and best environment is provided to students for studies and reading books. Hostel gates are open till 10.pm.. classes starts at 9.30. am and ends at 4.10 pm. Guitar stage , open theatre and kalam blocks are favourite spots of students.
