My Horrible experience at IMED

The course is very outdated. Some of the topics are up to date. They don't give us any real world project. They don't even have good external faculty that come and teach us the electives. Overall experience is very bad

Total fees was 149000 this was excluding exam fees. Exam fees per semister is 8000 and for pg there are 4 semister so total exam fees is 32000. Admission fees was 1000 rs for admission form which was non refundable. Other than this they expect us to do extra courses on our own so that is for each semester and the average course fees is 1000 so total is 4000. Total fees rounds up to 185000.

Campus life for MCA is too bad. For MBA its good. MCA students in this college has no value not in the college a d not in the industry. Our program director kept a guest lecture on the day of a big event. Entire college was enjoying in their traditional attire whereas we the MCA students were stuck with the guest lecture that was not at all worth attending. They bring guest from industries and tell us to sit compulsory for the lecture. But these guests are always from MBA background and they know nothing about IT. When we have any doubt we are simply told that we are not from IT background sorry

One of my close friends was in the other bramch of this college and she was doing engineering. I saw her placement so i thought that this college's placement must be good as well. Hence i took admission here but the faculty told us lies about the placement and everything.

The faculty and staff of this college is pathetic and very rude. They will talk nicely only till you get admission in this college. Once you are admitted they will just start talking bad about you. They will corner you for no reason. They will just be on their phones and dont teach at all. The placement coordinator of MCA is soo bad that if a student ask her any simple question about placement she bust burst off and scold them like anything. She even blackmail the students that if they don't listen to her she will not allow them to sit for the placement. Overall college is okish. We have a very small seminar hall where we barely have any events for MCA. The staff is not supportive at all. If we complaint about any faculty the other staff members keep on Corning that particular student

Nightlife i am not so sure about because i likve far from college so i dont come at night. But since ut is Pune City it is safe for girls and hearing from my friends it is good. The only this is we have a school in our campus and the toilet of that school smells soo horrible. O feel like puking
