Course Curriculum Overview

I had a keen interest in ACCA and this college stood out as my first preference because it offers exemptions for 9 ACCA papers which was a major attraction for me. The faculty here are highly experienced and incredibly supportive not just in academics but also in extracurricular activities.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We would like to inform that the total fees amount to 15000l rupees. Scholarships are available for eligible NRI students. Additionally NRI students are required to pay 45000 rupees as an administrative fees.

Campus Life

The campus life here is quite relaxed with classes typically being half day. This college encourages learning beyond the classrooms by actively engaging students in various extracurricular activities through its diverse clubs catering to wide range of interests.

Admission

I choose this college Symbisosu college of arts and commerce over others because it offers this course at a better rate and provides higher placement opportunities. Plus for the fees I am paying I enjoy an excellent campus life .

Faculty

The faculty here at Symbiosis college of arts and commerce are highly experienced and incredibly supportive not just in academics but also in extracurricular activities. Exams are conducted every three months and with proper preparations they are quite manageable

Interview Experience

There was no interview process and the admission was done in merit based and marks. The admission was all based marks and merits and not through any interviews or test and done with our 12 the grade .

Night Life

The best place to hang out on campus is the canteen or SymbiCafteria. It's perfect for chilling, doing group assignments,having discussions and enjoying an insane amount of fun drugging college life....

The college is Good

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 students become eligible for campus placement. The companies which visited college are Deloitte, KPMG, Asian paints and some other companies. And most of the students were selected. The average package offered was around 300000 LPA.

The course is very good on paper. University has given like 8 subjects from which we have to choose 5. But this college itself chooses 5 subjects and students now have to learn only them ... Like in 3rd year sem 5 there was subject international finance I wanted to study that because baf course is all about finance but the college had subject management. So yeah be prepared for this. Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is recommended for the students who want to pursue a career in the finance field or if someone who is looking to a course like CFA, this bachelors degree becomes handy. This course teaches you about the financial spectrum of the whole world and gives you an intricate understanding about different financial instruments and their relevance in the society. It teaches one of the most sought after skills in today's world, that is financial literacy. Still I think some of the subjects introduced under the NEP are completely irrelevant such as EVS and IKS. We as college students need to give quality time on some professional subjects, not that these subjects are not important but they need to be emphasised in the early classes. There are three internal exams of 10 marks each and 20 minutes for each paper. The end sem exam is of 30 marks for minor subjects and 60 marks for major subjects. Also I feel that the difficulty level is okay.

Here's an underrated BCom college with decent placements

I was accepted into Symbiosis School of Economics,Christ University, NMIMS Navi Mumbai, BMCC and Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics. My reasons for selective SCAC was- the fees was not too high, it seemed to have a good social life, Symbiosis is a brand name I considered to be pretty safe and the ACCA subjects are something I would willingly study. The application procedure of SCAC is quite simple, you have to fill the application form and then wait for the cut-offs to be announced. There are no entrance tests or interviews.
