Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose the law in this university. Because there are more classes done in law in this university and the faculty in law department was good. There teaching method was good and the attendence of faculty was high. In BALLB the curriculam was designed according to the judiciary exams. The curriculum was very best there are 6 subjects in each semester. In first semester the subjects are designed to clear the basics of the student. If a student fails in first semter in any subject the he is able to clear the back in 3rd semeter.. there are two semester in every year one is known as the odd semester and other is known as the even semester............ Internships Opportunities

2

They are different committees organised in every department of the university which are in to ensure the internship of the students in different fields but that was not good the internship is taken by the student only by themselves the placement and internship programs in the university was not to good and it needs improvement the students look their placements their packages by their own outside the campus there is a very minimum chances to get the placements or packages from inside the university.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees for BALLB is 180000 but there is the benefit for SC/ST student, they have to pay only 50%. The university didn't provide scholarship for other students, they only relay upon the UP Government scholarship which is given to only those students who have their family income less than 2 lakhs. The mess + hostel fees is 45000+40000= 85000. The rooms in the hostel in single seater with balcony. There's no merit based scholarships.

Campus Life

5

There are too many annual amd monthly festivals held in this university. Recently a huge festival which named as abhibhanjana is held in 14 and 15th of November which was a very good festival and the students of Gautam Buddha University injoy a lot before this festival there is also fest which was organised by the school of humanity. Besides the festivals they are also the sports activities competitions and other activities extra curricular activities are organised by the different schools of this university such as a hackathon is organised monthly by the ICT department and moot court is organised by the law department. The technical facilities in the classrooms was too good there are air conditioner decline good lights projectors speakers and podium with mic facilities. Whole campus was modernised with the Wi-Fi is network and all the hostels in the university was given the network with LAN cables Ethernet cables to students. There are many social groups and other clubs organised by the University management such as a Music club swaranjali the dance club the debate club the cultural club.

Hostel Facilities

5

The quality of the mail given in the mess was too good there is a sweet dish given daily at dinner time and the menu of the meal was very good the meal given four time in a day. The hostels was two large and the sports facilities given in the all hostels that network is provided through Ethernet to the students and eacg students have their own single room the single room consist of a bed a book case almirah a chair a table a balcony. There are total 11 hostels for boys and 9 hostels for girls these hostels consist of very huge facilities girls hostel consists of a common room where they can organise the different activities and in boys hostel there is a TV room where the boys can watch TV at evening and each hostel consists of a different sport facility such as badminton volleyball basketball football and etc

Admission

I choose this college becuse it is a government college and for a law student getting a degree from a government university is an important factor for a student. I want to go to the ipu through the CUET UG exam butthe counselling is started in gautam buddha university and the results of the common university entrance test was not released so I forces myself to take the admision in this university. But it is a good university but it is not a best university... The campus was too good but not well maintained. The admissions process was very simple in gautam buddha university there are some courses where you can get the admissikn in direct mode but some other courses need the GAUTAM BUDDHA UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST SCORE for admission which is easy to clear.. But from this year the university is taking admission in engineering courses on the basis of the JEE Score and also woth the GBUET score..

Faculty

3

There are the best faculty as well as the worst faculty available there.. There are 2 semester in one year, each semester have exams twice(mid sem + end sem) Every subject consist of 100 marks.. 60 marks from end sem exams 25 marks from mid sem exams 15 marks on internal basis...there can be assignments, practicals or presentations.. There is need of minimum 40 marks to pass in a subject. The mid sem exams are the scoring exam. Mid sem is easy as comapared to end sem, if a studend scores well in mid sem then he/she can easily pass by average scores in end sem.. Scoring best in end sem exam is to hard... If student didn't scores good in mid sem then its too hard to score good in end sem..

Night Life

5

There is a huge gym in the Gautam Buddha University is campus for boys and girls for gym is given in there respective hostels. There is a huge library in the middle of the university which is multistory building which was named as doctor bheemrav baudh stove pustakalay. This library is in circular shape and opens at 9:00 a.m. and closes at 5:00 p.m. and there is a huge reading room available in the library which which opens for 24 hour. There is a huge Shopping Complex in the university which consist of bakeries and every grocery items available there and there are the huge cafes and restaurants and many cafes are also located in the campus in different places a huge cafeteria is also available in the school of Management. For girls the gate of the girls hostel closes at 7:00 p.m. sharp and the gate of boys hostels closes at 11:00 p.m. sharp. The most famous thing in the whole University is the Sarovar which is in the middle of University and in front of the library.

Placement Experience:

No companies as here only lawyers of arbitration and other domains come to hire students. Most students though have PPO from their interning companies but not real 10-20 LPA placements for Galgotias and that i wish change because our university academics and the kind of learning that is provided is at par with that of NLUs.

Placement Experience:

Packages aren't as good or big as NLUs as 4-5 lakhs is median and just 25% students gets placements from University. Most students though go for litigation and I am also going to do the same as this is how I want to build my career and take it forward. Even LLM is also an option and GLA University is the one from where I will do, if I plan to do masters.

Placement Experience:

In BA. LL.B. especially students are elidgible from 5th year i.e. 9TH semester for college placements, the college has a 99 % placement rate which is very impressive and students are given a vast number of choices among the companies. The companies which recruit are usually top tier like Mahindra, Wipro etc. The highest ever package in our college is 50 LPA. I am planning to do corporate law after the completion of my degree for which the college also has a corporate resource department.

As I'm studying BALLB and the teaching method in our college is pretty nice as they conduct field visits, courts visits and also invites different personalities who Excel in the law field that helps us to understand how the real world works in this field and I really thinks that this college should more focus on their class overall timings sometimes they got really lengthy every year our university conduct 2 exams separately for every semester. and the difficulty level depends on the students preps

Students from third year have started getting Pre-Placement Offers, but many of those are majorly due to their own accomplishments. Students get ample amount of time to intern at various law firms and courts, to secure a PPO on their own. In addition to this, the Internship and Placement Committee, often comes in aid to secure PPOs for the students of the graduating batch.
