What Students Say

Likes

College ambience is too nice. Its too cold and a nice climate.
We have a nice ground to play football, cricket, kho-kho, and a basket ball court
All the students and the seniors are so friendly.

Dislikes

We have to walk over so much distance and that is so much irritated
The hostel i am staying the owner is showing bad behavior
Sometimes its too cold. So we could not adjust to it

Course Curriculum Overview

I have selected the course Civil and Environmental Engineering. I am mainly looking to go for environmental related aspects. As the course has so much future. The curriculum is great and does not have any issues

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 9650 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Everyone has to pay the same amount of fees. As I mentioned above rs 9650. All the tution fees, registration fees, admission fees include rs 9650. There are a few scholarships that are available for students also. Exam fees are 1850 to be paid.

Campus Life

As overall the campus experience is great. Students, seniors, faculties everyone's so nice. Having a great time with everybody. The hostel vibes are too good. We are living the life enjoying every moment with them

Admission

I wanted to select the course Environmental engineering. As it in Kerala there is only two colleges having this course. Firstly I got a private college. At there due to shortage of students I had to go for another college and it was government engineering college mananthavady. To get the admission we have to qualify the KEAM exam

Faculty

The faculty student relationship is absolutely fine we are not having any issues with the faculty members. As a student we are having so much pressure towards studies and also exams are coming very fast. The semister is going to be completed around 3 months. So we are having a little bit of tough time.

Night Life

The night life in campus is great. We can go to the gym or otherwise we can just sit in the pavilion having a chit chat with everybody. The men's hostel and ladies hostel have timing which is 9:30 pm by time everyones has to enter the hostel.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Average student experience at amrita

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.
