Likes

I like that every single student is taken care and looked after.
Behaviour of seniors towards junior. There’s no ragging at all.
Student teacher relationship is quite better.

Dislikes

Management of the college is very bad and needs proper monitoring.
No extra activity other than studying, rarely any festival or programs are celebrated.
Canteen facility is not great. Too costly and expensive.

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensive by 3 stars as the course selected is very unpredictable and unreasonable. Many of the courses are given which are not even required for our course.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 23000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for our college in a year is about ?46000 and for scholarship, i had applied under NSP( National Scholarship Portal) that is for the ST hills and get ?19000 for a year. The fee structure for our college is not either increasing or decreasing, it is same from the first year.

Campus Life

By my experience the campus life is great as well as the social aspects. There isn't any club involvement in this college tho the infrastructure is good. Each class has air conditioning and the classes are big enough to hold 60 studen And the campus is good as well.

Admission

I chose this college since it was best for management courses and also nearby my own state also. In comparison to this college, other colleges are quite biggerand have alot bigger campus and more university like facilities. I didn't chose other colleges as they were quite far away and the admission process here in nerim was was very easy and went smoothly

Faculty

The faculty members are very good at their works. They are always present and takes proper care of each and every student. Completes full courses. There is a varied no. of course structure in our college. Exams are taken under Guwahati University and and are taken semester wise with other practicals too. Marking schemes are quite fine. Marking are based on the writing of the answers

Night Life

The nightlife around college campus is very normal. The students inside the college campus are not allowed to go outside and the students from outside are not allowed to visit the college after a given timing. For gym, cafeteria, library there is no particular area for them, they all come inside the college itself so there is no different timing for anything.

Placement Experience:

The CACHAR college provide very good placement to the student in every year. in every year almost 10 to 20 student got placement in various company. Last year TCS and Mahindra company visited our college and required the student from the college. All the recuited student percentage more than 75%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculties are very nice, and each teacher in every department is good. Sessional exams are conducted by the college and final exams by Guwahati University. Each class consists of 100 students maximum. The minimum depends according to the admission criteria. Exams conducted were not too difficult as sessional exams are conducted by the college and the college provides guidance whole conducting them with proper implementation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bachelor of Commerce has always been attracting me since I was in my school. I wanted to study B.com because I wanted to learn about the subjects in it. Being a girl from a family background of handling business for me knowing about this subject would have been really helpful. The faculty-student ratio of 1:4. The teaching methods of our teachers are really good and quite interesting. We had assistant teachers also teachers with PhD in subjects Term exams were always on time and also difficult to crack if not studied.

About my college

Remarks:

I didn't have any negative remarks until last year. So there was a mistake on my form fill up. I put the right details and selected my subjects. I have selected English as my MIL and submitted my form. But when I get the admit card I got to know that my MIL subject was selected as Assamese which I never selected. Then in the examination I gave the ex for English and didn't gave for Assamese as my subjects wasn't Assamese. I told the teacher who signed my examination copy he told that it will be fixed but on the results day I got to know that it was marked as absent in the MIL exam because I didn't sit for the Assamese examination which I did because I was English student. Then I asked them they said to get my sessional exam marks from the HOD of English department. I went to the HOD and she said that the copy in which they put the records is with the commerce head so I went to him. He said he didn't have the copy and told me to get to the HOD I went back to HOD she said she didn't have the copy. Both of them didn't have the copy for which I didn't able to fix the problem. It's not cool.

Remarks:

The positive thing about the university is that it has vision which it wants to accomplish before 2030 and negative about the university that it lacks proper funds from the government in order to boost this vision.
