Course Curriculum Overview

5

Well am interested in forestry since Childhood. I really want to explore and live my whole life in forest That's why I choosen this course For me this course is preparing me mentally and physically as we go for visiting forest more often so now we know how to deal with real life problems. Well in my course they need to improve in praticals Nad they should explain using instrument Exams papers are not difficult as I said before it's easy and in one semester it occurs twice which is fine

Fees and Financial Aid

Oky so for my branch which is Bcs.(hons) Forestry we pay 15000 in a year same for other branch courses too by the way I do receive scholarship from ICAR which 3000 per month ,so the tuition fees here is 4000 , caution fee is 600 , registration fee is 240 rupees , admission fee is 885 rupees ,lab charges is 360 rupees whereas other compulsory charges including like examination fee is 1080 rupees nd development fee is 550 rupees .... My course is totally affordable you can develop your sports interest even here everything is so good the quality of education we get in this money

Campus Life

5

Okay here we celebrate so many festivals which includes holi , diwali, christmas, durga puja many more . In Library all sort of books are available if any students are interested they can go and read issued tht book ,they also provide computer facilities in library. My campus is big and nice .yes I am part of sports club as am good in vollyball

Hostel Facilities

4

Our room are perfect Usually for first year we do share our room with 2 more students which is fine as they give 3 beds , tables plus 3 almirah to each one of us Mess is also fine. Mess fee is 2600 nd quality of mess food is average Registration process is easy for hostel,we just have to fill the form to get a room and but parents presence is mandatory here .

Admission

Well I just applied for icar colleges My first preference is IARI delhi which I didn't get due to high cutoff...I want to go in that college because I want to do agriculture from there bt unfortunately I didn't get and overall facility their in IARI is better than central level college no offense! But I still love my college and my couse and very much satisfied with what am doing and I am extremely happy for that

Faculty

5

Well faculty and students ratio are nice because strength is not that much that we need so many faculties, the faculties that are present right now are approachable and always ready to help us . My favourite faculties are from agroforestry That are Dr Prabhat tiwari Nd Garima Gupta They are awesome their teachings method are so nice And their is one teacher that I don't like because his teaching is terrible,I don't feel like studying in his class . There are basically two exams That are called as mid term and end term and praticals Before that we have two quiz of 10 marks each It's not tough to qualify exams if you are studying consistently .In my class this time two students got fail as they are poor in studies that's why ... it's totally relevant to have this course curriculum.i personally find it very good

Night Life

5

After my classes we all friends go for cycling and there is one of our favourite spot in bhojla we go for chilling there most of the time . Yeah we have open gym facilities Library facilities and canteen facilities My gate closing time is depends on season Like in winter it's 6:30 pm and in summer it's 7:30 pm Yeah it's totally safe to roam during night time

Placement Experience:

Tere is no batch of agriculture is still passout so there is no record for the placement of agriculture student but information which college has given that for 7 sem your recruitment will be started. No such record for our courses 2.5_3lakh is what mention while taking addmission Students having 7 and above cgpa are eligible but they also have to clear gdpi sessions. If I get a job I may persuad it for experience and simultaneously complete my pg with agri management for higher growth opportunities in career.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements and there are a lot of companies that come for placements and highest package is by IARI, New Delhi of 96 lakhs per annum and the average package is 10 lakhs per annum. A minimum of 90% of students got placements. My plan is for becoming a scientist after getting my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course because I wanted to explore and contribute to the agricultural sector for better growth of the economy of India, for the people of our country whom we can help especially major concentration towards rural areas or villages. 10:8, Majorly every faculty has done their PhD from known respected universities. In fact we students are actually fortunate to get the opportunity to learn from our faculty members. They are actually very helpful and in our department, the teachers are sincere about giving notes and other information. Term exams were usually normal with the proper time. Truly the exams according to me were mediocre not too tough or not too easy so anyhow a student was required to study.

Placement Experience:

When the students come in the last semester which is the 8th semester then only they are eligible for campus placement. There are a number of companies that provide placements. I don't know about the package since I had not faced any interviews till now for the placements and about 40 to 50% of the students get placement. After completing my course if I get any good University for Masters then I will go for that and if not I will prefer to do a job.

Remarks:

The college is best for who want to complete the course in low amount of fee and the education is best at the cost. The university is small compared to other universities but it gives students advantage of gaining focus of teachers due to low number of students.

In truth there are not any bad remarks for college by myself ..it fulfills all requirements of students to complete their studies easily. Only a weak point of college is not the availability of girls hostel ..hope it will come soon there are many advantages of getting a degree in this college like disciplined environment, regular classes, hostel facility and most it is situated in prime location.
