What Students Say

Likes

The attendance is not at all an issue even if you have zero Attendance it's fine
College has a swimming pool and a ground
The faculty is supportive if you ask them questions

Dislikes

The exam section is very lazy they do not do things on time
The college is very far from the railway station
Infrastructure is very normal there are ACs in selected classrooms

The college is affiliated by mumbai University so the syllabus is according to Mumbai University The curriculum is moderate doesnot have any thing special Removing subjects like automata theory etc because doesnot have real world application

The company's visited were Capgemini Promobi Tata consultancy services Mahindra tech Digi plus Aniruddha telemetry service The highest package was 10lpa by promobi and lowest was 3lpa by Aniruddha telemetry service

Campus Life

The annual college festival is known as rhythm and lasts for 5 days There are various events in that and are very popular The college student council team organized those events and has many societies publicity, hospitality marketing etc

Admission

I applied for St Francis and didn't got into that college I was given kc college in my first round but it was very far so I didn't choose it The college is very near to my house hardly 4kms so that is the reason I choose the college

Faculty

The faculties are pretty normal. Each class has 2 class teachers The faculties are supportive if you go and ask them questions Preeti Mishra is the faculty I liked because she is very friendly and helps student with their trouble

Night Life

There is inbuilt college gym The hangout places are the Malad infinity mall and Inorbit Mall . There are a lot of cafes nearby college. My college has a swimming pool that is very good. And college has an inbuilt cafe as well which is maintained by college

There are placements available and 6th/7th sem students become eligible for it. Highest package offered was around 11 lakh and average is about 4 lakh around 70% to 80% students get placed on basis of the tests conducted by the companies individually

Inside Life at GHRCEM: Placement, Faculty and Campus Reality

Placement Experience:

Placement at GH Raisoni College Of Engineering and Management are moderate, especially for CSE/AI Student . Students become eligible from the 7th sem. companies like TCS, Infosys, and WIPro visit the campus. The higher package goes upto around 8-10 LPA, and the average Package is 3-4 LPA. Around 60-75% of students get placed. After graduation, i plan to work in software/AI roles and improve my skills through internship and Certifications.

The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

The students can apply for placements from the 6th semester, but they have to complete the whole 8 semester to start working. Companies like L&T, HCC, J Kumar, TATA Projects are our major recruiters, many MNCs and other top company like to hire from NICMAR. The college has genuine 100% placement, the students who generally do not get placed are ones who have family business or startups. After completing the degree and mostly interested in a job for the 1 to 2 years to gain some experience. Then I may consider options like higher studies or a business.

Affordable or Expensive- A detailed review of Atharva College of Engineering

I had applied for Thakur college of engineering which was the nearest to my house and also in St. Francis college of engineering. I think Thakur could have been a better option but due to my less percentile I had to go in Athrava and that too management category. The only thing I liked about my college is its aimbience and vibe it gives you a vibe of a decent yet somewhat modern college. The admission process was seamless no difficulty faced at all. Atharva College of Engineering.

As in cap round I apply for different colleges in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, but as per my cut out I was alloted a navi mumbai college known as Saraswati college which is located in Kharghar. But as it is far from my local station I prefered for second list and in that list I alloted this college Atharva College of engineering. So I choosed this college because it is near my local station. And this college is well developed and also had some insight from the ex-students of this college. This made me choose this college. I was rejected by a college named VJTI as that college cut-off was way ahead of what I had scored so I got rejected from that college. The admission process of Atharva College of engineering is to simple just submit your documents of 12th or diploma and your local I'D and fill the fees. As I was in management quota I've to pay the whole fee as per open category. At 2022 the cut off of this college in 3rd round was 73% in final semester....Read More
