All about PG college solan.

*I choosed BSc in zoology because there are too many options i can choose after completing my graduation. Science is considered tough that's why I choosed this.Hard things make you strong and ready for many challenges of world. *This degree covers basics of wide field of knowledge covering entire biodiversity taxonomy botany zoology and chemistry which creates a strong base for advanced studies and cources in future. * According me for practical work should be included that will prepare students for actual problems they will face in their field. More fields related topics should be included rather then unuseful things. Course should be designed in such a way that will actually help students in thier fields where they will work in future * You have to give exams two times in year house tests and final exams. Practical exams are also conducted.

Bsc Admission fee- 3000 rupees each year Bsc Exam fees- 3000 rupees each year Arts admission fees - 2500 Arts Exam fees - 2500 Scholarship are available for SC and ST category only. Hostel is available too.For that you need to pay extra fees.

*There are different annual and technical festivals celebrated. Which include annual day. *There are several types of books in library but library is small and there is lack of space. Some class rooms do have smart boards and projectors some not. *There are all types of sports you can participate but there is no coach of any sport and small playground, there is lack of sports equipments and very less facilities. *Some social groups include ABVP, NSS and NCC

Before taking admission in my college I tied in Punjab University for bsc and nauni university for pharmacy. For some reasons I couldn't gave Entrance exam of pharmacy. Solan college is also affordable with negligible fees and very few extra charges. It's also in good location and good environment and also close from my home. It,s present in solan city so you can learn too much while staying in city and also visit beautiful places around. * Admission process of my college is too simple you can apply online or offline. You just have to submit some documents and admission fees and choose your subjects.

There are approximately 80:1 faculty to student ratio in arts section and 50:1 in science stream because there are generally less students in science batch. As I am bsc students. Science professor are more engaging with their students and are well knowledged. All professors are good and well knowledged but few needs to improve their behaviour.In last few days there were protest happening by ABVP students against arts professor. And some time faculty members also do not behave with each student equally. In sports they prioritize their known students and relatives and students of physical department as compared to science students.

There are several gym in town. I personally go in biggest gym of city. There are several parks, cafeterias, and beautiful places around city and famous temples to visit. You can also do night camping on mountains. Solan air quility is also good making it good place to live. Hostel is also available in affordable price. * You can also visit famous places around like jatoli, chail etc
