Likes

Campus is great for female students. Teacher have great knowledge. Sports activities takes place round the year. Many public speakers visit the college. Many awards are won by the college. Safe for girls students.
The security of students is good and the take cautions for other threats. A system is built by the college for prevention from natural disasters. The college makes sure that each and every student feels safe around the campus.
The college does not stress out the students for doing there target. It maintains a free atmosphere where everyone does their tasks freely. There is a sense of affection by the faculty towards the students.

Dislikes

Sometimes there is issue in the admission office due to overcrowding. They try to function properly but due to network issue the work stops. Unnecessary things are demanded by the admin section like documents.
Sometimes there is network issue in the college itself. The wifi of the college does not work properly.
Mobile companies network does not work properly in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is relevant to the daily needs of the sector. The University takes care that all the changes in the sector are the part of syllabus. The University changes the syllabus every five years for the betterment of students.

Hello there, Myself Atharv from ajeenkya D Y Patil School of Engineering. Currently I am studying in Third Year in the college. The atmosphere is great at the campus. The campus of our college is ranked no.1 in green campus list at the University. Lecture take place regularly a great staff. Maximum staff of the college is well qualified and great at their work. They share all the information with us. Extra curricular activities also takes place in the campus. The campus is great for female students. It's a safe environment for girls

Campus Life

The overall experience is great for a student like me. There were various activities conducted by the college such as sports,singing competition, dancing competition,costume days, etc. I am able to connect various people in the college due to the friendly environment.

Admission

The selection of the college is a crucial task. I have chosen this college because I loved the college campus over the other colleges. To tell more I have secured the requires marks for this college. The admission process is also made easy by the college faculty.

Faculty

The faculty does not stress the students to achieve the targets. They have been understanding towards the students. The environment during the exam is great. They conduct college level exams also for the betterment of students

Night Life

The night life around the college is amazing. There are various activities to do in the evening. Various shops are there to connect with people. The daily needs of the students are also available. Many more things are there to be done.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources

My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.
