Likes

The best thing about this college was the campus.
The crowd at the campus was amazing, we had students from every different corner of the country.
The staff and extra curricular activities.

Dislikes

Placements were not upto the mark, only around 50%
Non availability of basic shops near the campus
The food at the canteen is affordable but the taste is really bad

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum I would say was average. The relevance and practical knowledge provided was not upto expectations or requirements. There should have been subjects more relevant to the course requirement.

Internships Opportunities

The placement cell tries to bring more and more jnternships for students. But many students faced issues of being interns for a fake company which asked them money for certificates of completion. But many good internships were also provided.

Placement Experience

The campus placement was pretty average. The average package would be around 3.5-4 LPA. The no. of companies that visited the college for placement was very less. The placement cell can work a little more hard towards bringing more placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The average fees I paid was 160000 per year. For a MBA college it was pretty decent. But as it was a semi govt college we also had some scholarships for special category as well as financial aid was also provided to students who could not afford the salary.

Campus Life

The overall experience at the college was good. It helps you focus on not only studies but also push yo utowards extra curricular and social clubs as well. The campus has variety of clubs for various passion.

Admission

The very first reason for me to chhoose this college was it being a semi government college which gives the degree a little more advantage. The second was the fees structure. The fees here was comparatively way less than other colleges.

Faculty

The faculty members are good at the campus. They are auite experienced. The semester exams happen twice a year. Before the main exams we have internals consisting of 25 marks. The faculty was not suprr supportive though

Night Life

The area in which the college is situated is not very crowded. There are no such places nearby to hangout or chill at night. The only place nearby is Vegas mall where you can hangout with friends and chill.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of this college follows almost all the important aspects which are needed to step into the real world of business. In every semester there are two types of subjects. One is practical and the second is theory. In 4th semester their subjects like statistics, managerial economics and financial accounting which will really help us to understand the business world. And in theory subjects like marketing, human resource management, organizational behavior are very important. Study is mainly focused on case study basis which helps how we can apply these concepts in the real problems.

Great Learning

Remarks:

You get an opportunity to learn and become a more responsible person. You need to attend classes as they carry marks but you also need to be active and do other things as well in order to learn as many things as possible. It teaches you a lot. Since the infrastructure is shared with other courses also, at times it becomes difficult to get access to seminar halls and other things.

My Experience at USMS, GGSIU

The biggest reason to pursue MBA from USMS is that it is affiliated to GGSIU and the course fee is so affordable. Apart from that, the placement rate achieved every year remains constant i.e. more than 75% are placed on- campus and the rest get selected off campus. Also, the admission procedure is too easy to get into it. Since I was eligible, I filled the application form which was made available from Feb- May and further I appeared in the entrance test i.e. IPU-CET.
