Course Curriculum Overview
Course is very interesting. They cover all aspects of epidemiology, public health management, logistics and supply chain management in hospitals in the course. They are a little too research oriented but it is very enlightening.
Internships Opportunities
There is a compulsory summer training/internship that is organized by the college. We must make good use of it to put into application what we have learned in the courses.
Placement Experience
Placements I gave 7 because the salaries offered are not very high and comparable to other B-Schools. However, you will 100% get a job with a very good brand, either a hospital, a public health/research organisation or a health technology research company. Very large hospital chains regularly make offers here. The placement cell very thoroughly grooms students for placement rounds.
Fee Structure And Facilities
?5.1 lakhs for 2 years. This is the tuition fee. The hostel fee is different.
Fees and Financial Aid
Doctors have to pay ½ the fees if they have scored over 51% in the MBBS course. Contact the college for more details.
Campus Life
Campus life is highly interesting with all doctors in a B-school environment. There are academics and there are the management studies related seminars and workshops that students are engaged in. It is a very active and intellectually engaging college atmosphere.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is of good quality. The buildings are separate for boys and girls. The hostel is clean and well maintained and you get your money's worth. I have 7 because the food variety and needs improvement.
Exam Structure
Exams take place on a semester basis. 4 semesters and therefore 4 exam sessions.
Faculty
The faculty is very well-experienced and they have senior doctors teaching us. So they know what they are teaching about. Plus, most students are doctors so the connect between students and teachers here is good. They understand medical issues and management issues also.
