IIHMR University, also known as the Indian Institute of Health Management Research, was established in 1984 by the Government of Rajasthan. The university offers management and doctoral programmes in the field of healthcare and medical sciences. It was ranked 15th in India and 1st in Rajasthan by TOI in 2026 for MBA programmes, and 155th in India and 8th in Rajasthan by Collegedunia in 2025.
The university is recognized by the UGC and accredited by NAAC. IIHMR Jaipur is also recognized by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India as an Institute of Excellence and serves as a WHO Collaborating Centre for District Health Systems based on Primary Health Care.

IIHMR Jaipur Hostel Details 2026
There are separate hostels for boys and girls in the institute. The hostels are furnished and consist of single, double, or tripled accommodation air/air con, attached baths, bathrooms and/or common bathrooms. The room is complete, including bedding, study tables, wardrobe and while we do not ever run out of WiFi. The living accommodation is complemented by: a centralized kitchen, hygienic dining hall, indoor and outdoor sports/gym facilities including jogging path, medical facilities with resident doctor, common room and clubhouse guest house in a clean and cozy living area.
