Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum designed is career oriented and it helps in understanding the real world concepts and they have a relevant curriculum and its heplful for us to understand the basuc concepts of marine. The frequency of exam is also good.

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship opportunities provided in campus they have many tie ups and also provide many opportunities to do internships. The projects opportunities are also provided. Altogether the college offers better internship facilities.

Placement Experience

The placements are good. Many well versed companies are recruiting cadets and they are providing placements for many years. Most of them are getting placed in a 1st year itself and they are also providing required training for cadets.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees is 3,44,070 Includes admission fees, Tution fees, Food and accomodation fees, Uniform, marine accessories, Insurance, Medical service anf other amenities fee, DGS 1%Cess fee, Value added fee, Laundary service fee,Indos fees, Exit exam fee, TAR book fee, Convocation fee. There are different types of scholarships available.

Campus Life

The good campus life and we have got the larger library with enough resources.There are lots of club that conducts many outreach programme and activities which also adds up the social skills required.

Hostel Facilities

The food menu is okay and the Accomodation facilities are great. The quality of food is not really good but its Managable and the hostel facility is really good.the Accomodation is spacious.The hostel is mandatory for dgs courses

Admission

I feel this college is best in terms of all aspects for me and affordability is the main aspect that influenced my decision. The admission criteria everything was relevant for my choice abd hence I felt this to be one of the best

Faculty

We have a good faculty student ratio.They clarify the doubts and Student teacher relationship is good. We have well experienced faculty who have rich experience in teaching and good knowledge and they are very helpful.

Night Life

There is a in campus gym, cafeteria and night life is not really good as we are not supposed to go out at night and we have to be in hostel by 8:30 pm so there is gym facilities ane cafeterias providing better foods and snacks

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

I applied to a few colleges like Anna University and SRM but got confirmed admission only at AMET University. I chose AMET because of its strong focus on maritime studies and practical training, which other colleges lacked. I faced rejection elsewhere mainly due to lower entrance exam scores. AMET’s admission process requires passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, and accepts scores from TNEA and other engineering entrance exams, with TNEA being the most preferred. A Perfect College Life For A Cadet To Become An Officer.

I applied in the top 4 colleges in this field i.e., Tolani Maritime Institute, IMI Noida, SIMS Mumbai And AMET with MAERSK sponsorship at Chennai. I chose this college because i got MAERSK sponsorship and also the fees comparavtively to other colleges is less. Taking about the admission procedure, we need to clear IMUCET and the AMET CET exam and alsowe need to clear the interview with MAERSK (if passes AMET CET exam). Then the comapny conducts the psychological test in which we need to pass. Then we need to complete our medicals from DGS approved doctor and the comapny approved doctor to get into the college. Passport is mandatory while admission. Around 15000 students gets selected in IMUCET exam every year. Place for mariners

The hostel rooms you get are way too small for even two of them to live comfortably. But they stuff in 3 students per room, Upon that they conjust your room with study tables, chairs, buckets(which do not fit under the bed) table mates, and they provided so. only to look good during inspections done by AICTE or DG shipping. Once upon a time Amet gave 100% placement to the students, however now the students getting placed from GME is very little.
