Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose History Hon's because I love reading and knowing about my past and also regarding society, world religions, etc and for that subjects like History, Sociology and Political Science are great subjects.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship provided in the college is by the departments for their own subjects. Students need to consult their respective departments. The internship mainly takes during the summer but it depends on the respective departments and professors.

Campus Life

5

The campus has an evernt going on almost everytime. The annual college fest is called the Nexus which takes place for four days with exciting events, inter college competitions, band performances and special guest appearances. The college library has a great variety collection of books and even some rare collections for research students. Smart classrooms are also present for special lectures. Cricket and football tournaments are held within the campus and even there is a badminton court within the campus. There are a variety of extracurricular activities and even quiz and debate societies present for interested students.

Admission

During the time I took admission, the process was smooth and like the process it was previously, just the mode was changed from offline to online. Why I took admission in this college? Well the campus itself is the biggest pull factor for me. Very few colleges have such a huge campus. The field is the biggest plus point and along with it the environment of the college is very nice too, the Chappel, the library, the auditorium and the classroom and corridors.

Faculty

4

The faculty is very approachable and frank with the students. They help is almost every matter and never make the students uncomfortable. There is only End Semester Exams and no Mid Semesters. Students who study well and go through the suggested questions and proper notes, they score good marks. You cannot just read blindly everything. You have to read in a systematic manner.

Night Life

4

The college offers gymnasium facilities for the interested students and the library is also very nice with great variety of books and even rare book collections. The college doesn't provide hostel facility but there are plenty of PGs near the college. The campus opens at 9:30 in the morning and students can stay upto evening. The locality is safe to hangout for the students and there are many nice spots to visit during the spare time for the students.
