The education given by college is theoretical not practical.The faculty provide proper knowledge of their particular subject but it is only thetorical knowledge not a practical.The facilities like Jim is not in our college

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very nice .This college is under the Mumbai University. There are two unit test's in a semester.The exam pattern is semisterwise .There are 2 semester's in 1 year. Total 8semesters.In the 8th sem threre ia project.

Placement Experience

There are more than 100 companies are provide placement .The companies like tata ,google, Accenture, L&T, capjemini ,etc are in campus placement program.College provide internship to the students.the avg package gave by these companies are 4-7 lakh per annum.

There are lots of events in our college.The main attraction is college gathering.In our college there are individual events of branches.Marathi wangmai also take an event in our college. There are more than 20 events are arranged in college.Social donation camp also organised by our Ecell team.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of college is one time payment.The average fee is 1lakh rs gor open category and reserved categories has fee are obc-aprox.60000 sc -10000 and there is also special reservation for the army family boys.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are schorship for each category students the main criteria for these schorloshilp is the annual income of the family of student.There are too many scholarships for the students those annual income less than 8lakh.Also college gives local journey consession as well as long journey consession.

There are too much activities rather than the academics in our college.There is indoor as well as outdoor games facilities in our college campus.There is badmenten ground.chess , carrom, and other games also.There are special labs for every department and the labs are updated labs

Alumni/Alumna

The senior student s guidance is so important to the junior.College organise the alumini fest for the interaction between the Senior and junior There is no ragging in our college campus.seniors help the juniors into their project as well as academics.

Admission

Through cap round .In the college there are reserved seats for girls and the reserved categories. The cap round working on the score in mhcet as well as jee score . Initially you have to submit the application form on dte website and then after you have to choose your favorite colleges according to your marks in cet/jee.

The faculty are from nits and iits and most of the facilities are senior some of the faculties works in research area.all the faculties are expert in their particular subject.The facilities tries to deep knowledge of their subject.Also they solve the doubts of the students.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Datta meghe is moderate tier 3 college, i choose this college because it is near my home and my cousin also studied from this college it is good . I am trying for VIT Mumbai which my aim to get but cut off of this college is high. In datta meghe you can get addmission through jee, mht cet and management Cet cut off for computer branch is near to 92.5 percentile for general for caste it is low Most of the students get addmission through MHT cet in my college. REALITY OF Datta Meghe College of Engineering

I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam. Cutoff depends on the branch but it ranges from 50-95 percentile in cet exams. overall the admission process is not too easy neither too hard....Read More

i have applied for many ot the colleges like somaiya, vjti, dy patil but my percectile was no that good for those colleges thats why i choose datta meghe college and my travelling time also becomes less my admission process was they basically look for your cet and java percentile the candidatemust have passed class 12 with subjects like phy chem and maths for direct second yr admission candidate should have a diploma in enginnering or technology with a minimum of 45% admission process is step 1: apply for mht cet or jee main.step2: appear for the exam.step3:after the exam results ,participate in the centralized admission by the Directorate of technical education maharashtra. step4: for mht cet ,based on the rank and preferences the DTE college will allot seats in various eng collegs including datta meghe college step 5: after seat allotmnet candidates need to verify documents and pay the admission fees to cinfirm the seat...Read More
