Likes
- Most of the teachers are supportive and actually good at their job. They have this urge to make their student good human.
- Concept of ragging is crime here. Seniors are just older friends or siblings.
- Campus is very neat and tidy. The facilities are clearly great.
Dislikes
- Lack of togetherness. There are very less programs for whole college to come together.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very interesting. It is very useful in real life and creates a good impact on the students. The curriculum excites the students to learn and does not feel like a burden. Teachers also do play a huge role in making the curriculum more interesting by adding different perspectives.
Internships Opportunities
I have recently joined in here. I am not prepared enough to state something but something I can say is that there are many options and it is very convenient and student friendly. I haven't experienced yet but will do very soon.
Fees and Financial Aid
What I paid is Exam fee - ?3200 Other fees - ?16315 Student Deposit - ?1500 Tuition fee - ?5675 Gross Total - ?26690 There is scholarship of MAHADBT for which i have applied from my SC category. There are various scholarships and freeships that other students have also applied. As my college is autonomous, fee keeps changing per year for students.
Campus Life
There is a annual fest called Spandan that is normally held in the month of December. It is fun. The Wadia Library has a very motivating environment. It also provides online books. Classrooms have digital boards. Huge playground and rooms for art incourages students to participate in extracurricular activities. There are many groups, clubs and portals which are very friendly and family like. There is also a facility for students for personal councillings.
Admission
The college I am in, was the first thought since always whenever we thought for graduation. It is said to be very fortunate to get admission here. The admission process here is based on percentage in 12th class in whatever board and caste. After 12th I applied for this college as soon as possible and other option was through CUET exam. But fortunately I got what i wished forfor and then didn't even look at other options.
Faculty
Faculties are very welcoming. Students feels very little to no hesitation at all to talk to them as they are very approachable. They are always ready to help in every way possible. In first year there are two semesters with internals too.
Night Life
Pune is educational and cultural capital of Maharashtra, so it is very much full of students everywhere. The college is so famous that the road it is on is named after it, which is also very famous. It consists of various hangout spots and interesting places to get involved in. In the college itself there are many spots where students enjoy just being like, the bamboo garden, recreation hall and study hall. The canteens are so popular that students from other colleges are also found munching. It is safe enough to freely roam around. The locality is alive till late night.
