Aquaculture is applicable in every nations. Beacause of the importance of marine and freshwater foods. In the future the scope of aquaculture is very high because of the incresing demand of food and diet. The curriculum can be improved by adding mor epractical sessions and field trips. Time intervals betwwen exams are normal. And exams are medium level.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are vailable in our college That are got under the connections of teachers and the peoples at the managemnet level. as the college situated in an area very near to shore , the opportunity to take internships at hatcheries are easy for students in my course.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure cames on the basis of semesters ,as 2semesters per year. Its about 6000-6500 per semester for the students who allotted on the merit basis.university fees of this amount and caution fees of about 2000. Other all fees are covered under about 3000rs. The fees for management students vary upto 2000 rs. The students which comes under sc st is not in our class. So not sure about their fees and all. E grantz provided by state govt and many other scholarships are available on the basis of perfomance of students on their previous board exams. Sukumar azhikode scholarship,fisherman scholarship are the major scholarships that used by students in our college.

Campus Life

As a student entered college just this year, im not that much sure about the college festivals. There are many clubs and other orgs that helps students to improve their personal and acadmical career is present here.

Hostel Facilities

Im staying at an apartment outside the college which has no connection with the college or management. We often eats food from hotels some times we also cook. The distance from college to my room is about 300 metres or something. Which helps us to have a quick acces to the college.

Admission

I applied to emea kondotty for microbiology but my 91 percentage is not enough to get admission there. Then i changed my plan and decided to get into mes asmabi college for aquaculture because of my interest is in biology. Im jot rejected from any college but aint got the admission. The admission process of my college is very basic and practical. Submitting of the required dicuments and payment of the fees. Admission process is over.

Faculty

Faculty students ratio is balanced In my course there are 3 faculties for the major course. Dr kesavan and Dr muhammed areej e m are the best faculties in aquaculture and biochemistry. The reason is because the way of teaching and interaction with students.

Night Life

College is open till 5:30 for students. Hangout spots are like there is a very spacious canteen in our college which gaves as very nice and tasty food. it closes at 5 o clock. Hostel timing is 5:30 for girls, as boys dont have hostel the time for the boys who staying at sports hostel is not determined , they can go and come any time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.
