Course Curriculum Overview

5

As much as I can understand, this course is totally related to research with includes wet and dry lab both, but this course is very much helpful to learn the programming languages which are mostly applicable nd used in many companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees structure for Msc in Medical Biotechnology and Bioinformatics was Rs 38000, but after receiving 40% scholarship based on my BSC in biotechnology CGPA which was 8.51, my total semester fees has now become Rs 22800.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is good but the place is really small but after one month we'll shift to JISSMR, Satragachi in which we can explore more about the campus and other facilities which would be provided to us in the near future.

Admission

I got a lot of confirmed letter from Adamas University, Amity University but I choose this college because this course is very much more interesting and other colleges also doesn't provide such course as such as a combination of both medical biotechnology and bioinformatics.

Faculty

5

The faculty is very much helpful and kind to us students. They try their best to help us as much as possible. Lab infrastructure is also good which helps us to learn more of wet and dry lab more with the help of our teachers

Night Life

4

The place is good. We also have a little kitchen which you can say which does cooks food but if not there are many stalls and shops where we can have healthy and hearty meal without even spending a lot of money

Placement Experience:

Calcutta University has an active placement cell that plays a crucial role in securing jobs for students. Companies like EXL, Genpact, Infosis regularly visit campus for requirement and the average package offered to students is around 6-6.5 LPA. I have plan, go for Ph. D. or some specialized courses after completing my M.Sc. course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very well planned which does a great job in bringing out the best of the students. They are designed thoughtfully so that it becomes easier of students to decide their future prospects. The exams are moderately tough. If one follows the lectures and attends classes regularly and study with dedication it is very much possible to ace the exams. Although one thing is a bit concerning for the students is the duration of the semesters. Such huge syllabus becomes a bit challenging for the students to cover up inthe time allotted for each semesters. But the teachers do their best to guide the students to excel in the exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

Nowadays the future as a Biotechnology student is bright as it has a lot of industrial options. The faculty-student ratio is 1:6, all professors are completed their Ph.D. and they are very efficient in both online and offline mode. There are 4 CA, and 2 PCA in one semester as an internal exam, the difficulty level of that exam is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to be a professor in Botany so I did choose Msc and I have to pursue Ph.D. to be a professor. In our college botany seats for postgraduate student is very limited. We had around 22 students and we had 5 professors of botany. So our student-faculty ratio was very good. It is 4-5 students for one professor. Our professors were very much educated and were willing to teach us deeply. They took both online classes and offline practical classes. They were very open-minded and used to do interactive PowerPoint presentations in the classes. We had four semesters. And in every semester we had to pass all the papers. However, there is an internal assessment test before every semester
