Likes

Hostel facilities are good , even food are too good
This is a Ragging free college , there are entire department for any such activities if u r facing u can file a complaint.. but generally u will not face any such issues regarding Ragging.
College environment is good. Even college is beautiful

Dislikes

They are very strict in hostel, like they will ask for your parents every time when u have to go outside the campus, although this is good but i think not every time is there any need for calling parents..

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses are not much tough for students according to me but in some cases students has to face mass supply i think this is perfect planning of universities to make money from it by taking re-appears which is not good. But

Fees and Financial Aid

In scholarship they have their own scholarship plan from which they conduct cgc josh scholarship. From this student get waive but to continue scholarship they have to maintain 75% attendance as well as 7 cgpa in every semester.

Campus Life

They are providing clubs like dancing, trekking adventure, singing many more upto 3 . Infrastructure are average I will say , classroom are good, every corner classroom has cctv cameras , they also provide sports activities so that students can participate in such activities like football, volleyball, circket, etc.

Admission

They took students on the basis of 12 percentage students having more than 70% has opportunity to take admission in it and they also take students on the basis of jee mains paper. Students can take in cse but after getting late they will force u to take other branches

Faculty

Faculties members are very friendly to students, and they have better qualification nd some have a respected doctorate degree And has experience. From placement cell department faculties are good . Well experienced too

Night Life

Boys are not allowed to roam in outside hostel after 10 A.M , and college is very far from the city, there is small village Jhanjeri where college stablished. U can't go outside of the hostel at night.

Great exposure, Learning and Placements at CU- A well rounded experience

Placement Experience:

I am a recent graduate in computer science with specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning. i took admission in CU just because of their excellent placements for the computer science students and what i feel is during my journey they provide i'll not say 100% placements that they guys claimed but yes the placement is really good. the average package is of 7-8 lpa and they offered placements globally like in hyderabad, pune, banglore, noida that are considered as best places to work in IT sector. but in my last year i.e 4th year i have been offered a position of software engineer intern in gurugram and that was off campus so i grabbed that opportunity. and there is one policy of chandigarh university if you opt for off campus placement then you get debarred from the TPP campus placements of chandigarh university and you will not be able to sit in the campus placements of chandigarh university. rest overall the campus placement is good.

The Life in Chandigarh University

Placement Experience:

The placement is the one of the strongest region in this college. From 6th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. From 4th semester,there is placement training program which makes students get ready for interviews, tests in placements. There are prominent companies who visited our college like Microsoft, Google, Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc. The highest package offered by a company is Rs. 54LPA and average placement is Rs.8LPA. 90% of eligible students gets placements. My plans after degree is to study MBA and get into entrepreneurship and business.

CU from my view

Placement Experience:

After the sixth semester, we are eligible for placements. many multinational companies visited for placement such as Amazon, Google, Wipro and many more. The highest package is 36 lack per anum. Around 600 companies offer placement on campus every year.

A TRUSTED COLLEGE FOR A SAFE FUTURE

Placement Experience:

The campus offers good placement in amazon and other high digital online platforms. The placement completely depends on the rank of the students. Many companies such as Amazon and Birla group have visited the college. They also offer good jobs abroad with attractive salaries. Mostly in a year almost 30% of students are placed in job by the college itself. Rest 50% will surely get jobs in good companies if they have good academic statistics. After getting the degree, I would like to get job in foreign country like America and would like to settle there as the college also offers job in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was ready to choose btech course (civil engineering ).collage faculty was more than i expected. Collage was more friendly. As in the case of students was very good at college. And also our teachers are more friendly in studies and helping the students in studies.During the examination our teachers works well. And they are able to make the students to score good marks. Collage conduct exams as 4 sections in a year.

1- i first started by giving HAU entrance exam but i failed. then i applied in this college . because my college has big talent in advertising and promoting themself. 2- no, but after facing failure in my HAU entrance the rejection for getting admisision in that college already achieved by me. 3- by filling admissions form and after that we get a call from our college which is our councler and tells us whole further process for confirming our seat in college they asks us for our 10 and 12 standard DMC's , aadhar card, passport size photo migration certificate too....Read More
