Course Curriculum Overview

4

Our course curriculum is not that good. It's a bit off sometimes as it is less related to the real world. It is a bit bookish thing. Their should more be the involvement about the outside world because at the end we have to deal with the real world problems not the bookish things. Exams are conducted in a very small interval of time and during that projects assignment and all is also going on which makes it a bit hectic and tough.

Placement Experience

2

Placements in our college are not that good as per the expectations. It is a bit low but maybe in the future upcoming years it'll increase as our college is now NAAC A graded. About 80% students gets placed every year. My plan after the degree is to be at a good post of software developer and earn some good money.

Fees and Financial Aid

In 1st year, i paid 92,000 and for the rest 3 years i'm paying 78,200. Registration fees in our college is 1000. If you have scored good marks in any competitive exam like JEE your fees will be reducted.

Campus Life

3

Their is fresher party for the new students which is named as abhinandan for the welcome of our freshers. We also have a sports meet for two days in which anyone can participate and have a technical fest named srijan which is quite interesting. Their are different clubs also like technogiant.

Admission

I choose this college because of their fee structure. It is more affordable than other colleges. Our college is good in terms of studies as they focus on the studies more than i know about the other colleges. If you want to get admission you simply visit the college website jbit.in and you'll get all the information.

Faculty

3

Faculty student relationship is sometimes good sometimes off. Some teachers are friendly to you but some are strict more focussed toward their work. I like asst. Professor santosh kumar mishra he's very frank and solves all our problems that we face regarding anything. We have two internal exams and one external exam. Internals are bit easier and students don't take them that serious but externals are bit hard and everyone tries their best to get good score.

Night Life

2

Their is also a gym facility available in our college for the hostel students. It is not that good and exciting. I have stayed in hostel for 1year and i didn't liked it that much. You feel like you're in some kind of jail.

At our university, campus placements are for real the best. Hundreds of companies have networked with us and all of them have been very regular in our university. Companies which have visited are also increasing every year and students percentage of getting placed and getting better packages is also getting better.

One of the best thing I saw here is placement. If a student is willing to do job then this college is appropriate place from him or her.. Students are placed in IT , SALES , FINANCE, EDTECH , TRANSPORT, DRUGS , etc Students are eligible for jobs and placed from the beginning of pre final semester and can apply in each and every company as per required skills. Not big tech Faang companies visit the campus but a decent level IT companies and limited visit the campus. And conduct their interviews and exams process. Although interview rounds are tough and offcourse nail biting competition among the students. The highest package this year till now 34 LPA by an American MNC . Average package is 550000. Approximately 90 percent students got placed in different domains and fields. My plans are so clear. I will take the job first in IT companies and get some experience on ground level and will grow further.

Pringle, The Sleep Co, Lenskart, Luscious, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Google, Facebook and every tech company which potentially can come have come to our college for placements. On and average placements worth 6-40 LPA are common. Since some students miss out so on a whole the placements average stands a little below 10 LPA.

One don't have to go round and round as placements are done well within the time as most students here are placed by 7th semester. Those who left behind can try their luck on day zero as we have mass companies coming for a 3 day event and hire as many as they can.

The placements of this particular college are not good as much as i have heard about the placements of this university's before batches. They are still fighting and trying to get better placements for the senior batches which I wish they get it done, or i dont know what will happen in my time. The 7th or 8th semester is the one from which the students become eligible for campus placements. The name of the companies which offered were TCS, Infosys, HCL, Amazon, ICICI Bank etc. the average package of the college is about 4-5 LPA. Onlu 50-60% of the students or lesser are getting placements in the college. My plans are to do Mtech afterwards i complete my btech course in this college.

Graphic has a training program and for every CSE student who haven't done intenrships it's mandatory for them to do that. So, because I did intenrships I don't have to attend those workshops but I have internship certificate. So, placements happen in the final year and Amazon, Birlasoft and likewise many companies recruit students of GRAPHIC Era University.

The placement rate of UPES School of Engineering is 80%. Now this is bigger than most as it is impossible to have that placements percentage with a batch of 1000 or more. The average placements are also between 7-9 LPA and highest so far has been of 42 LPA. Top names in the industry like Microsoft, Adobe and Amazon are some of our biggest recruiters.
